Thanks, unfortunately I think this week really did me in in terms of how much I can handle. My fiancé and I have been having lots of very difficult conversations lately. It’s been horrible all around. So many tears.  I think if we don’t hear this week we are just going to be done. I can’t handle this anymore and all of this stress has really made me do a lot of questioning about everything in my life. Being in love is supposed to be a good thing. This is not. Nothing about this is good anymore. I just don’t know. Of course it’s not just this process, there’s much more going on and also in my life as a whole but I just have reached my breaking point and I can’t go on being miserable every single day any longer. Maybe we will hear next week. Who knows. Maybe not. I go to Europe on Friday and we will be able to talk in person (thankfully, I’m so sick of having these conversations over text and FaceTime) and then we will see where we are. It must be nice to have had this experience go smooth and quick. I can’t imagine. That’s how I felt at the beginning of August. All was good. But the past two months have just not been good. The stress is too much. And it does not feel like there’s an end in sight and I’m just done.

I wish to have words to make you feel better, this is not an easy process and I get what you are felling. My advise to you is to put things in order by writing FACTS. Don't let an emotional situation to win you over this, FACTS are that you both knew this was going to be hard, that you are almost there to get an answer, that a month or 2 weeks can't make a difference if you are already this far in the process. It's an stressful situation, don't add more stress by being obsessed with it, IT WILL HAPPEN. It's just a matter of when. Take this visit to talk about it and what you both want in life. If you both are still in the same boat then you have to work together to make things happen, and this means to support the other one in bad times. You are focusing on NOA2 as the center of your relationship and I'm sure your relationship is stronger than a paper. Focus on what matters and have trust in yourself and your partner.

Depending on wait times for medical and interview you may just make it for xmas.

We are actually planning on end of January. I'm going to fly there and we will come back together. Main reason is for the extra baggage.😂😂😂. Plus I can use up air miles and buy the rest needed for a lot cheaper then I can fly round trip. That includes extra baggage fees.

Hi!

New week, hopefully everyone waiting will get news soon! We are still waiting for our RFE in the mail and I can't believe the amount of people who thinks an RFE is a bad thing! I was in a FB group and they are all scared about getting one and I'm more than happy because I can see a timeline clearly than before and that makes me feel secure, even if its a few months behind schedule but at least I know!

I'm quitting my current job today (I JUST DID) and taking the other opportunity I was offered, more money, more savings! Wish me luck! and I keep you guys updated about my RFE hardcopy.

Guys!!!!! My RFE letter is on the mail and my fiance sent me a few pictures of it, here's what they are asking for: (sorry for the poor quality).

-Meeting requirement: I think they got the question wrong because they asks for something they said we submitted (but we didn't), so I'm guessing to send my passport showing my only entry to Mexico, residence card from Mexico and Mexican visa? I haven't left Mexico since I got here in 2016, maybe all pages of passport (blanks)? Should we add again his passport (the one with the stamps for coming here).  I don't have much on my side other than prooving I live here since that time and that I haven't left.

image.png.ae955632da225bda828037691f627634.png

And we missed a box on the form.... (Answer is no)

image.png.e4f353800535b8551668e0591e317056.png

What is this on the last paragraph about the IBM Regulation Act of 2005?

I guess our rviewer typed over another RFE template because some information doesn't make sense lol

I got nervous just by reading this...

Congratulations on movement at least. Not what u wanted but, the end is closer.

Send anything u can proving u have met in last 2 yrs. Send copy's as requested of temp passport. Make sure everything is  legible.

Click box that was missed. If yes. Provide court documents of charges.

The last sentence does make no since. Almost seems like they had a brain fart while filling it out. May want to call and get clarification on what they want. Weather it's proof it's not a imb or criminal record. Or both.

Lol That's what I thought, I'll have my fiance calling tomorrow but I do have the "not IBM proof" ready just in case...

I'll add everything I have! It's a good thing because I can add proof of our last vacation time when we both flight to Cancun and I saved everything related to it (boarding passes, luggage tags, and statement of the hotel, etc)

About the box, they included in the letter the part to fill with yes or no, is that ok or we need to include the form page where the question was missing? The answer is NO so I guess we don't have to add anything else on that matter...

AHHHHHH I'm so happy it's an easy RFE!

This morning I woke up really sad and anxious. I checked the websites and no updates on our case. I felt discouraged once again but then my fiancé told me he received an email from the post office saying they were about to deliver an envelope from USCIS!!!

It was an RFE but made me feel so good because I finally have the proof that USCIS is actually working on our case! Yay!

Speaking of RFE, they are asking us to provide more evidence that we met in the last two years prior to filing the petition.

I have gathered everything I have, which is:

1- flight receipts of the same flight we took together on August last year from Italy to US

2- Facebook post showing us together in the US while watching the Total Solar Eclipse visible last year only in North America

3- my flight receipts from Italy to the US

4- passport copies showing entry/exit stamps

5- my I-94 travel history

6- more Facebook posts / timeline screenshot showing exact dates, times, and locations

7- more pictures

Does anyone know if there’s anything else I should add before sending the envelope back to USCIS?

If that last sustenance turns out to be a concern about IMBR then I offer this example of how to answer.

Take the Cherry Blossom letter and the CB's TOS along with a letter (see example of letter below) from you and send back with a copy of the RFE. Be sure to make a copy of everything you send back. Also, send it so you can track the package to USCIS. Both of you should sign the letter. You can send it to the other for signature as a pdf attached to an email. Print and signed and the scan and return for inclusion into your reply back to USCIS.

To whom it may concern:

I met my fiancé (name) on Cherry Blossoms and to my knowledge and evidence by the enclosed letter, Cherry Blossoms is not an International Marriage Broker. There are no introductions or matchmaking services or social referrals between US Citizens and foreign nationals. There are no written consent forms or contracts that members are required to sign. Members search and communicate with others from their own free will.

My fiancée (name) or I did not pay or signed a written consent authorizing the release of personal information. There were no introductions, both of us communicated with our own free will. I have enclosed a copy of the letter from Cherry Blossoms stating that they are not a IMB company and they do now run their website as such.

I hope this gives you a better insight on the workings and our experience with Cherry Blossoms.

With best personal regards,

XXX and XXX
