noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

LOL, I can imagine. I was pumped for a few days. You finally actually get to make plans, it feels so unreal after all this being lost. And mine wasn’t even a long one, I can’t imagine - i would have lost it I think.

Yeah, I’m closing in. P3 was in the mailbox this morning, I’ll be sending it back first thing Monday, so I’m assuming I’ll have P4 to sc(exile the interview maybe next Friday or beginning of the following week. From what I’ve heard Frankfurt has slots available almost every day for the next few weeks, so I could actually end up having my passport back with visa inside in about 3 weeks. I already booked my flight, so POE will be December 6 and we’re looking at a wedding date before Christmas, probably December 21.

What s your timeline now that you have NOA2, just assuming that everything finally goes through normal processing times from here?

Wow that's awesome ur moving along so quickly.

We r planning end of January as of now. We don't have to worry about flight us I'm using air miles to fly her here. Can book same day if I wanted to.

what we were discussing last night is, me flying over for a long weekend since it appears her friends want to have a going away party. Be 4 or 5 days. Plus I can take extra suit cases and bring of her things back with us.

Ill have to buy about 26k air miles if I go but, is way cheaper then normal flight. Even with buying miles and extra baggage fees plus taxes u have to pay using miles. It still be cheaper the a round trip ticket.😁

@BJ & Christine I called. Nothing. Thanks for suggesting. But I am now sobbing. Wish I hadn't called lol. I knew the answer would be don't contact us back for another 30 days so I'm not sure why I bothered anyway. For whatever reason, my simple case just doesn't want to move forward! 😪

Hang in there! You can do this and you will. It must be painful, just think of how happy you will be once this is all over. Stay strong, keep yourself busy and always have that thought in the back of your head that you are almost there. I was ready to give up and questioning if this is really worth it a few times, and I just got a smooth and early NOA2. But I know the wait is painful and I know that you WILL get through this. Only a little longer and you can finally start making plans and joining whatever group is next. I’m sending you a big hug and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Sounds awesome! I don’t know how Christine feels, but after NOA2 - actually maybe after the NVC case # was assigned, it just felt like time started racing all of a sudden. I have this countdown timer on my iPhone and it says 67 days until departure and I’m startin* to panick that I cant possibly get everything done until then, LOL.

Good thing that you have the miles to use, that way Christine doesn’t have to do the farewell all by herself. My fiancé is in Army training right now and we can’t talk, he’s in the middle of the California desert somewhere. He won’t even find out that I have the visa until he gets back at the end of October.

I just received the hard copy RFE today, along with the information on my divorce, I also missed checking two boxes. The first box was have we met in the last two years...easy enough yes. The second question also easy, Has beneficiary ever been to the US, so I checked no, it says if yes put NA in corresponding boxes, I had put his passport information in these boxes! So to fix, I put NA next to those answers and I will attach the I129F additional page, with an explanation that I thought the question was asking if the beneficiary had a passport...does this sound acceptable?

Glad u got it finally. Everything seems to be correct. Did they ask about divorce? If so what part they need clarification?

The divorce decree doesn't have a stamp (they never stamp orders in Indiana) USCIS said there was no proof of it being filed or recorded. I spoke with the clerk who will give me a new certified decree with a letter of authentication and an explanation of why there is no file stamp.

Don’t forget to sign and date the boxes that you filled in and also in you N/A answer.

Thanks, unfortunately I think this week really did me in in terms of how much I can handle. My fiancé and I have been having lots of very difficult conversations lately. It’s been horrible all around. So many tears.  I think if we don’t hear this week we are just going to be done. I can’t handle this anymore and all of this stress has really made me do a lot of questioning about everything in my life. Being in love is supposed to be a good thing. This is not. Nothing about this is good anymore. I just don’t know. Of course it’s not just this process, there’s much more going on and also in my life as a whole but I just have reached my breaking point and I can’t go on being miserable every single day any longer. Maybe we will hear next week. Who knows. Maybe not. I go to Europe on Friday and we will be able to talk in person (thankfully, I’m so sick of having these conversations over text and FaceTime) and then we will see where we are. It must be nice to have had this experience go smooth and quick. I can’t imagine. That’s how I felt at the beginning of August. All was good. But the past two months have just not been good. The stress is too much. And it does not feel like there’s an end in sight and I’m just done.
