So... My fiance just called USCIS because he did the math and we are officially out of the 7 months processing time. And they told him that yes we are outside of regular times, that they are going to -maybe open an inquire (?)- and that on October 10 at the latest we should get news.

Sounds like a generic answer to me... Anyways... We'll keep waiting.

It should be soon. I was 7 months to the day to be approved. I called that day and got no answers but I did get my paper NOA2 10 days later in the mail dated the day I called. Even tier 1 should have seen the approval that day. 😑

Hopefully that will be our case too! I can't wait to start life with my love and instead I'm stuck in this country for the next (at least) 4 months :(

Add 922 before the numbers from your receipt.  922 spells WAC on a phone keypad.

Just got another email from USCIS this morning--we are reviewing your case. Last action was August 15th. No updates at this time. Just tears...WHY ARE THEY TORTURING ME WITH THESE EMAILS??? I saw an email from them and my heart jumped. And then I looked at the subject. Yeah, I get it. This isn't going to happen. Do you really need to keep sending me the same email???? So they received my RFE three weeks ago...does this mean they haven't even looked at it since they haven't taken action on my case since August 15th??? They couldn't take the ridiculous form letter they sent me the RFE for that I had already included in my application and just check the freaking box and moved it along??? Really? I just don't get it. All of these people who sent back RFEs AFTER we did and theirs just moved right through. I just don't know what to think anymore. I thought my application was so basic...my fiance has no kids, no criminal record, two jobs and two residences in the time span they asked. Pretty simple. 6.5 months for an RFE to send a letter we had included in our application? Sent back same day and three weeks later nothing? I just don't get it. Jut venting (as always) and I know there are people are wait longer and I know my time is coming and all of that but I'm so fed up with this process. Was sure we would be in the August NOA2 group....that came and went and was SURE it would be the September NOA2 group. Haven't looked at that group so I don't jinx it but apparently it doesn't matter. October here we come ?!?!
