There was no special place indicated to sign and date it.  Do you mean sign the translated doc or just sign and date everything at the bottom of the pages?

At the bottom of the last page of the original RFE you can sign it there for authenticity.

yes also here is the envelope they sent me... do I write our WAC# on it?

Should I send in the Japanese Original of the translation or will it just confuse them?

No need. The bardcode if i am not mistaken already indicates your wac number. So when they scan that they will automatically know that it comes from you.

Give only what they are asking from you. If the original divorced decree is in japanese and you had it translated in english, then i guess better to include it too. If you can you can do a cover letter explaining what’s you included in your envelope the better.

How is this for a cover letter?
I hope not too condescending...

RE: WAC189

To whom it may concern at USCIS

I wanted to include a cover letter explaining what I am sending you just so there is no confusion.

Attached please find:

  1.  The original RFE received by me on 9/24/2018- as indicated it stated to include this in my return as a cover on top of the Requested Documents.
  2.  Next I am including a copy of my Fiance’s Divorce Decree or what they call in Japan a Certificate of Divorce.
  3. I am also including a copy of the Original in Japanese for reference.

If there is anything else you find you need please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Darryl and Masako

Got it.. dont forget to double check everything before sealing it.

The original rfe(signed and dated at the bottom), cover letter(signed and dated) and the needed documents to be submitted. Send it and get a tracking number..

Best of everything... 🍀

1 last stupid question

I was thinking of actually numbering each page to coincide with my cover letter and do I or don't I staple it?

No need to number it. Just arrange it in particular order as stated in your cover letter. You can or you dont need staple it. It doesnt matter. Whatever that works for the documents to be folded pleasantly.
