I can’t some of those things happen overlapping? I know you need to get the NVC number first, but can you do the medical while you’re waiting for the interview appointment to come around?

Yes, generally the medical must be done prior to the interview.  Details about how far in advance would be set by individual consulates.

It all depends on embassy. If I recall reading correctly u can do medical in Germany without nvc number. Would have to confirm with someone who is from Germany.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I was able to schedule my medical without the NVC number, they told me I could just give it to them as soon as I get it. I did then get it before I had the appointment. They told me if you don't have it we will just not mail it out until you provide the number.

And yes, you can do the medical while you're waiting. I had my medical on Sept 10 and my case arrived in Frankfurt this morning. I know that my medical is already there as well (called the doctor to make sure).

Hey guys, just a quick update, we finally received the RFE with joy lol. Not sure what it is yet as we haven’t got the letter.

Also, I had seen a post about signing up online to see a snail mail. Does anyone know how we could do that?

Together with the RFE (whatever it could be) can we put additional evidence? Such as updated phone conversations, more photos etc ?

Thanks to all those who have been sending us prayers, truly, this is all from you. ❤️ I pray lots and lots for those who are still in a limbo. May this remaining journey be easy for you all, make you all get a quick updates from the USCIS & May you all be united with your beloved partners as soon as possible. Ameen. 🙂

Finally you are just steps away my dear good luck with the rfe

Honestly so jealous of how fast this is all moving for you! How long do you think it will be for you to get an interview? I’ll be in Frankfurt for busjnsss in three weeks. Wish I could just bring it all with me at that point and drop it on their desks lol. Was planning to go with him for the medical on that date but still no approval so obviously that’s not going to happen.  So many plans, all down the toilet!

The petitioner can call and have the RFE faxed so you can start working on whatever info they need. I prepared everything and had it ready for when the hard copy came in the mail just to be safe because it says you have to send the original and not a copy back. And from what everyone said just send back what they are asking for, save the additional information for the interview. My RFE had examples of what they wanted. Keep it short and sweet. GOOD LUCK!

Fingers crossed we will both get approved soon. 👐

Both of ours RFE's where due to the cause of the electronic stamps on the passport!!!

I additionaly sent 25 more pictures of proof of the relationship. So hopefully it's good enough for USCIS.

And the wait begins :clock:

Oh by the way I see we both have lots in common with our k1 visa process.

Both from jersey. Both recieved RFE about similar issue. Both fiancé's name Jose. And both recieved USCIS has RFE Sept 17.

That is so funny... Guess the NJ crew is getting no love from the USCIS lol
