With android phones there is no date stamp on the photos. Clicking details shows the photo blurred in background but shows all info of when, where, and what not of photo.

Yeah I have an IPhone and it had the info and also the Line app which we use to talk has the date stamp :)

I just wanted to update. I spoke to the sweetest lady today. She pushed a service request for me and sounded genuinely sad about my situation. She said I should receive my update sometime next week. She said when they see those requests usually it puts some fire under their them and people will receive a response in 5 days of request being sent

Only reason we used line app is cus we were playing a game together (how we actually met) . We used line to set things up and just randomly chat.

I'm overwhelmed, I know immigration processes aren't easy, this will be my second one... but I'm trying to have a better understanding on what to do after NOA2 and for AOS once I'm there (I need a general idea of the whole picture), turns out I have like 5 process to get done almost simultaneously in the next 6 months and it's driving me crazy.

1. Get Venezuelan passport renewed (October 2018).

2. Have Mexican residency renewed to be able to attend to interview in Mexico. (Nov 2018).

3. Get ready for medical and interview at Juarez (Ongoing - Dec 2018).

3. Move to the US (Packing + tickets + quit job).

4. Courthouse marriage + apply for a lot of things I don't understand yet (SSN / drivers license / insurance).

5. File for AOS.

6. Plan a the wedding ceremony.

7.

8.

9.

All of the items having their own paperwork + fees + waiting times.

Do you think it would be a good idea to hire an agency or lawyer to help with AOS or is it something we can do (I'll have the time anyways...).

Hiring a lawyer is pointless- UNLESS you have something you should be careful about -i.e. previous issues with immigration, criminal records, etc
if not, anybody and everybody is able to file their AOS- all it requires is due diligence and some patience.

This forum is helpful
I'll personally be more than happy to answer questions/refer you to those that can help at all stages.
Plan ahead, take ur time and it all works out.

Also- my dad's advice to me when I started this process which might also apply to you: don't try to bite off more than u can chew.
Baby steps. It's good to know AOS is coming down the road but don't let it distract you from doing what is needed NOW.

You haven't gotten NOA2 yet
So I suggest you gather docs that your fiance needs for their interview for now and... TAKE A DEEP BREATH! We all survive this

Honestly, I wouldn't trust it to anyone else.  Especially at attorneys' fees.  Plus, you would still have to provide the lawyer with the same documentation you will be providing to the feds.
