Yes, keep on calling until you get someone who will fax you the RFE.  I know for a fact they **CAN** do it, it;s just a matter of getting the right customer service rep on the phone that is willing to do it for you.

My RFE said that you must include the original RFE letter back with your response.   I think they want that so it can be easily scanned and routed back to the officer that is adjudicating your petition.

Does it mean that faxed copy of RFE look different from original letter?

Does original (mailed) RFE have any stamps or wet signatures that make difference between two copies?

Anyway, we have to get it first and maybe Tier2 will answer on our questions. But due to previous experience it will be very very difficult 😩 almost impossible

they want the original (mailed) RFE.  I couldn;t notice a difference between the faxed one or the orignal/mailed one but the language was as follows in all bold and uppercase letters.

IMPORTANT: THIS NOTICE CONTAINS YOUR UNIQUE NUMBER.  THE ORIGINAL NOTICE MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE REQUESTED EVIDENCE.

Here is what i used to get Tier 2 on the telephone and it worked for me.  Call first thing in the morning 8am EST when they open. Let them know that you called last night and they were going to transfer you to a Tier 2 but Tier 2 wasn't taking any more calls that day and they advised you to call in the morning.  ITs a white lie and a little manipulative but it works because it already puts them in the mindset that you have been approved to speak to a Tier 2.  Also, if you call first thing the wait times for a Tier 2 are not long.

Same here. He says we should wait until we hit 7 months, which is coming in a week. I know we can't really do anything but wait, but you know it'll come eventually. Let's try to stay genki :)

Just checked mail box and we got approved!!

You might want to ask your fiancé to check his mail box!!!

Praying for you!!!!

Good luck you should have your approval in a few weeks.

The good news is that the Ukraine medical and embassy part moves very quickly.  Embassy appointments are available a few days after the case is ready and my fiance called on THursday for her medical and has her appointment on Tuesday

Hello all,

I've been a long time silent reader. I just received a text that an RFE has been mailed out today. Only old website has been updated. New website still shows as received. Old NOA1 2/14/18. New NOA1 2/17/18. Wishing all the best of lucks with this process and to all who have been approved a huge congratulations.

For those of us from February STILL waiting (ugh), have you thought about what it will be like when your fiancé(e) finally gets here and can’t work and potentially drive or have a real life for another 6+ months? Been thinking about that a lot over the past week as my fiancé has been here and I’ve been at work every day and had my teenage son with us this whole weekend. It’s real life! Real life is something it seems all of us here are hoping for but maybe most of us have not really experienced. Because even when we are finally together it’s going to be a long time until it’s “real” in that the person moving over has to make his or her own life from scratch, and slowly given their lack of ability to work. This has been on my mind because of the added stress it will no doubt cause...on top of this already insanely stressful process! It’s just so much! Anyone else thinking about this while you sit and wait?

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Just checked both sites. Finally after the case inquiry, only the OLD website shows our RFE was mailed today. Thank god something happened. Dying to see what it is. hopefully something easy🤞

Here on VJ they have created a spreadsheet where couple's have added their RFE information and it makes for a good primer while you are waiting for your RFE.
