I have never thought I would be sooo happy to receive an RFE 😂

Our case status was updated an hour ago (old web site and app): they mailed RFE on Sept 7.

It gives me a hope that we will receive it before my fiancé would leave 🙏🏻

Hopeffully, our waiting game (waiting for NOA2) #2 will be started soon.

Congratulations to everyone who has been approved and patience to everyone who is still waiting.

Hate to say congrats but I’m hoping it’s somerhing simple and a quick fix. At least there’s movement!! My stress level has gone down about 90% since getting the RFE. At least there is some end in sight after 7 long months of nothing!

HI. We're on day 193. We're very anxious and frustrated about this wait.

We corrected the beneficiary's name on April. Our NOA1 date on both websites is February 26th but now we don't know if we're technically April fillers for updating the name on April. Will it delay the process?

Thank you for your help

Thank you! Yes, it’s the movement and I hope we will receive a letter soon! It’s so difficult to expect it without knowing the exact date when you will receive the letter and without knowing the reason of RFE.

It’s strange feeling to see that our case status was changed even if it’s RFE.

I need to reduce my stress level too - I’m not able to eat and sleep normally, it’s 5:45 a.m here and I was awake since 3:00 a.m 🙄 I’m like a zombie with this waiting process 🙄

Still nothing... 200days...

I am so tired of waiting and crying...

i asked my fiancé to call USCIS ( we called them last week and and we were told to wait until Sep 15th!! Ugh... And if still nothing after 15th, call them again...) again but he said we should wait for another 10 more days. I can’t wait anymore...

any advise?

Hey I'm with you - I'm from Japan too! 206 days and still nothing as well.

Found out that I got an RFE yesterday. No notifications, just checked the old website. I am really hoping for the fast turnover. I know that an RFE means they are touching your case and all of that, but it still does add to the process a couple weeks. Hopefully, it will be an easy fix.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Thats what I am hoping for. I am going to be asking the forum, if its something I am not sure how to complete.

The only place where the info was changes was the old case tracker, where it states that RFE was mailed. Really hoping to be done with it soon.

I hope your RFE won`t prolong your process too long.

Did you include any additional evidence of relationship and a new letter of intent to marry?

All I sent was what they requested.

And signed rfe at the bottom. Even tho there was no spot for me to sign.

Do not send anything more then what is asked for.

Also, sent both pages with them both on top. It clearly states on the rfe what they want and how to send it back to them.

Sent mine back usps certified next day air. Cost $24.70

More then welcome..

Its not overly complicated as many think it is. Everyone gets scared when they see "rfe". Most the time the adjuster just over looked something u sent. Just wants to have everything in order.

Hi, @BJ & Christine I appreciate your help very much and if you don't mind me asking a few questions about RFE's process:

- case status about getting RFE was updated on both web sites?

- when they received your response on RFE the status was updated also on both web sites?

I'm asking because we are waiting our RFE too but the status was updated only on old web site yesterday that they mailed RFE (I hope they actually did that).

One more time thanks for you time :)
