This uncertain situation is killing me 😪

Yes, that's what I'm dealing with today as well. I was told that I should expect an RFE on Wednesday, when status didn't change, I called back. I was told that there was no RFE and that Tier 1 can't see that anyway. I called tier 2 who said that no letter was sent out, he doesn't know if one will be sent out and that he had nothing else to tell me. I'm waiting for another call back to speak with someone else.

To be honest, no one knows. And even if someone here says they know, they’re just guessing. There are bad employees everywhere. Who knows why they say one thing and another happens. Unfortunately there is really nothing more you can do but just wait. Of course I say that as someone who has not done that well (NOA1 Feb 16th new site) but it is what it is. So sorry. It absolutely sucks. We can all agree on that and that we know FOR SURE. I hate every single minute of this.

My fingers are crossed and I hope the 2nd officer would give you more information 🤞.

I don't understand why does it take so long to print / upload to system RFE and why the 2nd officer can't see this RFE if the previous one said he saw 😣. We will try to call them again next week, but I'm not sure it will help us to get any information about our case.

Old site updated today (or maybe yesterday?) that they received our RFE yesterday. New site still says the same thing it’s said for seven long months...case was received. Fingers and toes and everything else crossed that we sent back what they wanted and that it’s speedy!

I just got my call back from the tier 2 and was basically shamed for even calling and told, I can tell you it might take a month, it might take two years, that's all I can tell you. This is a horrible process and there's no reason for them to treat people like that. 😭

Can’t be as colorful as I’d like with my language. But that just bs. They have no idea our life’s r in there hands. U at times seem to use it to the advantage.

This is a case where contacting prior to 210 hinders ur process. If I was u I would wait till ur 210 pops up on new site and try again.

I finally got 2nd call back, after almost 3 hours, the 2nd tier 2 officer was so much more helpful and kind. He said that there is an RFE and it has been in queue for 7 days which is not normal. He said that he would send an email to California to inquire and he said that they will send me an email response. I feel a little better but jeeze, I need 5 minutes to just have a little peace and hope in this process.

Be strong everything will be okay once this thing get out of the US and to Haiti just pray and have faith in God . That is a call center we all call when I called before a nice man told me that is not the California service center we are calling it’s just the uscis service call center and yes a tier one can see more they can only see if actions were taken if noted and it’s not much they are in no way who handles cases or can make anything happen but stress . Just keep your faith in God and this shall soon pass and we will be to the next phase in our life

We just got approved today!

 

I received an email at 5:30pm Eastern Time and the old site was updated, but nothing on the new site still.

 

NOA1: February 26 (Old Site); March 1 (New Site)

NOA2: September 7

 

I've been reading the February forums for the past few months, and it has been really helpful reading through everyone's comments and posts so thank you all for that!

I have never thought I would be sooo happy to receive an RFE 😂

Our case status was updated an hour ago (old web site and app): they mailed RFE on Sept 7.

 

It gives me a hope that we will receive it before my fiancé would leave 🙏🏻

Hopeffully, our waiting game (waiting for NOA2) #2 will be started soon.

 

Congratulations to everyone who has been approved and patience to everyone who is still waiting.

We must have the same officer... Mine is still in draft form since 8/27..  still draft form as of today....No one would give me an answer either.. finally spoke to a tier 2 supervisor who put in a inquiry for me and he response if you don't hear anything from us by sept 20 call back. Each day counts when it comes to starting the rest of your life with the person you love, and some the torture of waiting this long with a draft is outrageous. Either the information is there or its not. I'm still suffering here with you.
