Can someone help me out.. if I am using a cosponsor and that person is retired therefore doesn’t file taxes on retirement how or what would they use to send as there income proof if they don’t have any tax returns ... also I will have to get my past tax returns and was wondering how long it takes to get your tax returns from the irs? I also have my w-2s from the past few years so I can just make copies of those right? And with currently being unemployed i won’t need any of the employer items correct just mark unemployed on the I-134? Thanks!!

If the co-sponsor is retired it might be helpful to have them send a list of assets (savings, checking, investment accounts, IRAs, etc).

i believe you can directly download transcripts from the IRS website for your last several years of filing. I ordered mine to be mailed and they arrived in about a week or 2.

Good luck!

Enjoy your time together! That would definitely be awesome!

No, you can schedule it in Germany without the number and she told me if I don’t have it by Thursday, they will just hold mailing it out until I let them know. The lab results take about a week until they get them anyhow, so I’m hoping I will have it until then.

Which one lets you do this? berlin or frankfurt? im from germany too!

Missed the cut off for today by like 20 minutes OF COURSE. This process just has to be annoying every step of the way lol. But it’s done and dusted. On its way. Now we wait...

Glad I signed up for USPS informed delivery. No update on the old or new site but informed delivery shows a letter on its way. Hopefully an approval and not rfe but who knows. The part I can see looks just like the NOA1 letter did.

Old 2/22

New 2/26

Got the approval in the mail today dated 8/30. No update on either site still and no email or text update either.
