No they haven’t, I guess they haven’t received it yet or might today if USPS delivers that quick from Houston. However it’s certified so we might know then.

This is my first time posting here.  We were February, 2018 filers.  The old site and the new site still say case was received. We never got a paper RFE or NOA2 in the mail.  Today, out of the blue, I received an email from the NVC saying our case was being forwarded to the Embassy in Bogota.  Can this be for real?  Does this mean we are approved?

It means what the letter from the nvc says. U been approved and ur already past the uscis and nvc stages. Next notification u reseicve will be from embassy. Beneficiary will be the only one receiving info now.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Awesome, thank you for helping confirm that!  It does say in the attachment that we were approved.  It's amazing that we never received any notification up to this point, but I am just happy for the good news!  Looks like I have to get started gathering more documents to give to her for the interview!

Do you know what those documents are? I'd help but you didn't finish your profile.  Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Not necessarily.  Some consulates send packet 3 via email, and in our case it came to me (petitioner), as mine was the only email on file.

Go to the first page of the October NOA2 to NVC thread and you will see the instructions as what to do to get your case number or what you refer to as the VC number.

Just a standard reply informing you that there is still a heartbeat at USCIS. Keep in mind that the different tools that we use to track our cases is not always reliable. Just keep that in mind.
