Can someone help me with paying the K1 visa fee of $265...

So ive successfully scheduled my interview for 21st september in London, on the site but nowhere did it say anything about paying the fee when i scheduled the appointnent. So i have a confirmation letter for my appointment but no idea on how to pay now?

Do i need to ring the embassy?

Do i need to ring NVC?

Will i receive a letter with help on how to pay?

No, the Immigrant Visa Unit will not take phone calls.

No, they no longer have your case.

No, you get one letter providing a link to your instructions online.  https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

Look at Step 4 near the bottom. "Scheduling Your Interview"

It gives you information on paying for the courier and the visa fee.

The page is green.https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv

If you used a blue page, you made your appointment in the wrong place.

Go back to the page, log in, and see if you can find the payment area. https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv

I had this problem, I think you *may* have registered on the wrong site. There's one for non-immigrant, and one for Immigrant. Check that it does say immigrant at the top, but it should be a part of the process of booking the appointment.

How did you pay your fees?

I'm pretty sure it came up during booking, as you pay for the courier thing at the same time. Is there anything in the "Actions" part at the top right?

Are you able to get to the appointment page? Do you have a button that says "Continue" at that point?

How strange.

Maybe you do pay at the embassy if you don't opt for the courier service? Sorry I couldn't help you figure it out :(

Oh we have the same appointment day!!!!!! What times your interview at? Every day feels like a week. Also, I know a Dec filer who accidentally registered as CR1 (I think) and the embassy sorted it out for her. That was the Netherlands. Worst case I’m sure is you can pay at the embassy! :)

Oh September, September!!!!!! I’ve waited for you ❤️

There is still a cashier at the embassy. They won't let you get out of there without payment. The document collector will send you there before your file is passed to the interviewer.

Of more concern is if you didn't register with the courier. There used to be a courier desk in the lobby  (years ago) where everybody registered in person after the interview. That ended when the automated registration started.

I think maybe you didn't read the directions provided and maybe went down the wrong path. CR1s pay through the NVC so they would not be directed to the same screens as a K1.
