Canadian August NVC spousal visa filers

I just checked timelines and there's one that had a cc on 7/13 interviewing 10/9 and another for 7/18 on 10/18.

Ya if you guys can find that thread send the info along, it would be a nice way to gauge the dates and traffic. The posted dates are only two weeks ahead of me basically...getting close!

Sucks to see “Oct 29th”...I’m happy for them but that means August filers are now looking at November...maybe!?

For those that haven’t viewed the other thread, here’s the most recent embassy dates with the cc date:

 

july 13 -> October 9th

july 18 -> October 18th

july 21 -> October 29th

I'm so happy for everyone that got their dates! I've actually been expecting November to be the Interview date for August CC so this confirms that hopefully. Good luck to all going in October! <3

unfortunately some late July CC don't have dates yet. myself being one. I'm expecting mine to be early November.

Mhmm, mine will probably be very late November I'm guessing. Hope you get your date soon!

As long as the national Visa Center doesn’t fall any further behind and you have a shot at late November. I have an August 6 cc and I’m simply hoping for November at this point! I find all of the misinformation that gets given to be very frustrating!  I wish they would just post somewhere on the NVC website the updates of the are dates that are processed. I feel like all I do is check this site and my email! Sucks!

Friends, My husband called the RCMP (905-405-3750) today.  He was told that the RCMP "doesn't do the work, they subcontract out the fingerprints. so I have to go to a different place to get it done and they charge $56.50 to do it."  He said, "I talked to two different people.  They waive the RCMP fee, but not the private place that does the finger prints."  The RCMP officer referred him to a place called "Global ID services." for the finger prints and gave him a phone number: 416-231-9797.    does this make sense with what you guys have been hearing?  We are getting frustrated.

My RCMP said the same. So frustrating! I will have to go to the city to get fingerprints done. Honestly, my CC was well before Sept. 10 so I'm going to play it by ear. I'm sure if Montreal Consulate needs this type of search they will inform me when my interview is scheduled. I'm thinking of this as "if I didn't have this forum, and didn't know about the new requirement - as we were not specificially notified - what's the point of over stressing about it?" I think that, for me anyways, the extra stress isn't worth it so I will see how things go and if I receive an Email stating its a new requirement I will get it at that time!
