I'm preparing the I-131 forms to be submitted with my wife's (and her children's) AOS package.  What is the correct response to "Application Type"?  1.a. I am a permanent or conditional resident of the United States and I am applying for a reentry permit. seems to be the closest, but is not completely accurate because permanent residency has not been approved.

No, that option is for a re-entry permit for a green card holder.

Choose "I am applying for an Advance Parole Document to allow me to return to the United States after temporary foreign travel."

You can not choose "I'm a permanent or conditional resident of US..." because your wife is not a green card holder yet. She will have an AOS pending so she needs her Advance Parole document.

In Part 3 "Processing Information, I will put "N/A" in Date of Intended Departure and Expected Length of Trip (in days)?

In Part 7, being submitted with the AOS is sufficient to "...explain how you qualify for an Advance Parole Document..." ?

That's fine, or Unknown, or TBD.

No need to provide a specific reason or attachment for AP due to a pending I-485.

I am ready to submit our I-485.  My new wife entered the country with K1 Visa.  Am I reading the instructions correctly that there is no fee for the I-131 for Advance Parole, IF it is submitted with the I-485 and I pay the I-485 and Biometics fee ($1,225)?

Thanks!

Correct..there's no fee for the I-131 or I-765 when submitted due to a pending I-485. This can be filed concurrently with the I-485 or afterwards 9sending a copy of the I-485's NOA1 in lieu of payment).
