Congratulations to everyone that got an interview date today.  I know the wait is not easy, and for the VJers that have upcoming interviews, GoodLuck 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 

 

PS - still waiting on interview date. CC 8/8/18

We need to move our case from Montreal, canada embassy to Mumbai, India embassy (assuming New Delhi embassy doesn't do interviews anymore). Does anyone knows how the process works and what we need to do. 

 

Our case is still at NVC and waiting for an interview date CC July 25th. 

 

Reason for transfer: husband's Canadian work permit is going to expire on oct 23rd, and Montreal embassy is already booked upto oct 29th.

Did they tell you Montreal is booked until October 29th? My CC is July 26th 😕

@Uoas @Dbase interviews are typically scheduled with this embassy exactly 21-22 days from CC minus holidays.. hang in there it’s coming 🤲🏽🤲🏽

Oh I really hope so! Thanks for the support, I think the waiting and anticipation is what's killing us. I'm secretly hoping for the email to come tomorrow but who knows. lol

21-22 days from cc??? Maybe in Casablanca they are, so I’ll assume that’s what you’re referring too.

Someone here on vj had their interview date booked for oct 29th. I'm assuming their October month is full already. But can't be sure at this moment. You can still be hopeful for oct 30th, or 31st. If they still have open slots.

Two of the things that I was told by the NVC , which is proving to be untrue is that appointments are given out “ in the last few days of each month”, and “ once the email is sent to the beneficiary the appointment happens within a month”.  I’m going to add this miss information to the numerous other things I’ve been told along the way… How frustrating this!?!?!?! 

 

Does everyone at at least know, and have, Fingerprints done through the privacy act?

I went and don't my fingerprints through privacy act yesterday

Yes my husband got his done thru the privacy act, & RCMP on june 15, 2018. And that's the one we sent to nvc .

Same here, I did my regular RCMP prints in June and then the privacy act ones the other day, better to be safe than sorry!

 

i just wanted everyone to be sure they have them as the embassy may require them for those of us with a cc before sept 10th.

Right,  but husband's not going to Montreal embassy anymore as his work permit will expire next month. We are transferring our case to Mumbai, India.

So I’m not sure which NVC employee is correct but the one I spoke to said they were still scheduling so I’m not sure. Hopefully we all get out interview dates this week or the following! 

this is because each emasbsy is different/ the person who said Oectober was full was talking about another country

only need to watch the Morocco portal for information about Casa
