"Do you have documentation ti establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US law" is the question I'm not sure how to answer because my wife plans to have her vaccinations at the consular medical appointment.

I ask because all other questions are checked no and it follows with, "If you answer yes to any of these questions,  please explain below.

I'm not sure whether to check yes or no because she has records of some of them but some were done so long ago in a hospital with poor records. She is also age 40 so we were told that the consular medical examiner will give her the vaccinations needed.

I put "no" to that question.with explanation.."I will have it done at my medical appointment and take it to the interview."

Safe answer would be ‘No’ if you are unsure your wife has taken all the vaccinations listed on USCIS website. Explanation could be as simple like someone suggested above or that your wife has had vaccinations according to your wife’s country’s vaccination law. They won’t penalize your answers because the medical doctor shall have the final say on your wife’s vaccination.

There are cases where the beneficiary has answered yes only for the medical doctor to override and give vaccinations. And that hasn’t affected the beneficiary’s visa process.

Oh no. I already submitted the documents and checked yes because it opened up a place for explanation and so I was trying to play it safe.

She has had vaccinations and can provide documentation to some but we are depending on the consulate medical examiner to adjust everything. So, it shouldn't affect anything? We will make sure she has them BEFORE the interview.  Now I'm concerned.

I'm opting to post this question in a different thread. My wife can get some of her vaccination records but many of them date back to a hospital in her hometown with poor records. Not knowing clearly what to check on the DS260, I answered yes. (No was followed by a "please explain"). I thought it was the safer route. Problem is I already sibmitted the form but I haven't mailed out the packet yet.

We are depending on the medical examiner to adjust and give her the vaccinations she needs. So, the "yes" was to indicate that we will have them before the interview.  She is 40 so I'm not even sure that she will need all of them.

Should I indicate this in the cover letter? Hoping it won't affect our process. Thank you for your help.

She needs to have proof of what she's had or she will have to have blood tests and/or retake the vaccines. Find what you can and take that to the medical examiner and he will go from there. Some vaccines require booster shots it's been too long, so just let the doctor deal with it. Leave the forms as is now. What you did is fine.

You just be honest. If you not sure about vaccine records than say no and explain on the box the you will clean all vaccines during medical because they will give you all necessary vaccines during medical anyway. No needs to mention in the cover letter.

I was thinking in terms of her having them completed prior to the interview.  So I checked yes for that reason.

Maybe I'm over thinking this (something that my wife says I do about everything). :)
