Hello every one

I am a petiotioner  who live overseas. I sent i130 forms months ago through chicago lockbox and i wrote down my foreign adress on all forms.

Then i realized that USCIS dose not send mail to foreign adresses. I received NOA1 through email only.

I tried to change the adress to an adress in USA using the  online tool but i was not able to do it beacuse the system is designed for adress within USA.

Then i called the call centre to change on phone but the represititives told me they can not do it and i have to talk to tire 2 supervisers. Then i was told that they are busy.

Then i sent tons of emails to USCIS headoffice and tons of emails to my service centre and they kept on telling me to use the online tools .

Now we are very close to the second stage and  all the  IIN and receites should be sent by mail and i will not be able to receive any thing.

What else can i do to change the adress?!do you think i should wait until the case get forwarded to NVS then i ask them to change the adress?!

How would i know the case got approved?! Do they sent emails.. i submited 1145 form already.

Can i use the case inquiry tool on line  and use the  (notice not received by mail) then put down the US adress(my freind adress in virginia). Then she gets the mails and send them to me overseas.

Can i use my freind adress on the case inquiry form?!

If you already know they don't send mail out to foreign addresses why are you still trying to change?

If talking talking to a tier 2 will keep calling until you get one on the phone.

What i am tring to do  is changing  my forign adress to an US adress inorder to get my mail.

And i realized they dont send mail overseas AFTER i sent the forms.

And regarding the tier 2 supervisor they kept on putting me on automated  callback system and ask me to put my number and they would call me back when one of the supervisors is available!!!

The system did not accept my phone number because its forign number.then i call again and i told them .they ask me to send email to the headoffice!

The head office asked me to use the online tool which is not applicable in my case!!

Catch 22.  Make sure you are set up to get email updates.  When your petition is approved, you'll deal with NVC by email.  You don't actually need any paper mail from USCIS unless they send an RFE.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

You would get an email notification, then you would need to deal with getting the actual notice and responding to it.  Sign up for email updates and then check your status from time to time.  Nothing will happen for at least 5 months from filing though, so don't get to antsy.

Yes i signed up for email notifecation 8 months ago  and i am checking regularly since then.

By the way I filed 9 month ago.and

According to processing time we are very very very close thats why i am worried. thought maybe  RFE was generated that  i didnot know about!!

But if they notify by email first then that is a  good relief.

Your status would show something other than "received" if there was an RFE issued.  It would state that as the status.
