I posted this in the wrong section. Apologies for the duplicate!

Hi,

My fiancé's address history is mostly complete for the i-129F filing but he is a little stuck for the period of December 2017 through to July 2018. During this time he left his rented property, stayed with a friend for a couple of months in Florida and then came to the UK to visit me for 4 months. During this time his address with all banks etc... was a PO Box. He technically had no permanent residence right up until he moved in with a family member last month.

Any advice on how he illustrates this on the address history would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance

i would use those stated addresses from friend and the fact that he was in the US for a short visit. they would see the visit in the US anyhow. Do not skip that, because it can come back to bite you.

Sorry, to clarify, my fiancé is the petitioner. It's his address history that we're pulling together.

I don't know how to illustrate the fact that he didn't really have a permanent residence for the 4 months he spent visiting me in the UK

Give the Florida address for the time period Dec to July. He was on holiday and FL was his last known US address. Close enough.

I would still do as many physical addresses as possible, small gaps are not a big deal, for US citizens, but immigration would still think, he had to be unemployed or working right? I mean you have to live somewhere, I would as a regular skeptical person 😁

Trenton (USC) was on holiday in the UK four months. He was a tourist there. It was not his address. Nobody is expected to give every vacation address as a place where they lived.

Immigration does not have time to think so hard about whether somebody had a job or not. Address history helps with security checks if they get a hit on the name. Trenton will disclose he lived in Florida.
