Hello everyone,

I have read comments on how to obtain PCC in Qatar from the Philippines in other forums here in Visa Journey.

Though, I still have not read anyone posted any updates on those process they have done and how long it took them to get it.

There were people saying that we can do it by sending the requirements through the mail (not sure which address to send it to), through a representative who is in Qatar or through Qatar Embassy in PH. Which do you think is the fastest process?

We would do whatever it takes to have this clearance.

:(

Thanks guys.

Hi Reyhan,

I hope the below link would help.

https://www.moi.gov.qa/site/english/departments/CEID/sections/sec1060/1060.html

Also, you can check with the Qatar embassy in the Philippines but I guess apply for Qatar PCC from outside take more time and money.

If guess if you have a friend or a relative who is in Qatar, you can ask them to check with the CID and apply on your behalf, if it is possible.

Cheers :)

Procedure for Obtaining:   Residents of Qatar can apply by visiting the Office of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations in person.  Former residents now living outside Qatar can apply via mail by including a return envelope and a processing fee of 10 U.S. dollars in cash.  They may also ask a friend or relative to act on their behalf by applying in person and paying the in-person processing fee of 10 Qatari Riyals.  Details on the application procedure are available at the Ministry of Interior’s website at moi.gov.qa

Hi Liflead,

Thank you for your response. I have read this but it did not include how am I supposed to send it to their office.

I guess the best way to make sure my request is monitored is through a friend in Qatar. But I will still call and go to the Qatar Embassy and check with them what they can advise me to do.

:)

I have visited this site before but I can only find the requirements. The procedure is not included in the page. I think the safest would be to have someone request this on my behalf in Qatar. I appreciate your response. Have a good day. :)

I enquired about PCC recently on VJ from other applicants who had applied for it in recent times and according to them it's a simple process and u get your PCC within a week.

If u have someone here in Doha, asking them to get PCC for you would be easy but do check with the Qatar embassy in Manila on how long they will take to issue one.

Congratulations and All the best :)

My fiance and I were so happy last Friday when we saw that our case was approved. Then the next day I was crying because we found out that PCC from Qatar is required. It got me worried that it will delay us in our process.

My fiance encouraged me to trust God's timing and not ours. It gave me comfort and that took all my stress away.

This process may seem overwhelming but it'll be worth it once it is done. I promise to update everyone once I am successful in getting the PCC from Qatar. Good luck guys!

Most of the posters here are just shilling their website (hank and Greenbaum) and like to be known on the forums for a high post count. But we went through the process of getting the police clearance from Qatar. It seems the Qatar embassy likes to use DHL to submit the requirements. My wife had to go back 4 times because every-time she went from the initial visit to seek the requirements, they added something new she was required to get. Firstly fingerprints were done at Camp Crame, and afterwards they didn't accept them at DHL. She had to re-do them. Then two of the documents she didn't have authenticated, they decided that they wanted them authenticated. When sending the package you need to send dollars. The Qatar website says $10. but DHL will say it is $30., ok no problem. So all in we spent about 9000.

Most likely i will be filing  complaint about the price gouge that happened when submitting this paperwork. But stopping the process and filing a complaint and waiting to get it resolved is very time consuming so we just paid it....unfortunately... We tried to submit the police clearance through LBC but they threatened to X-Ray the paperwork and if money was found, they would reject it.

Hello, thank you for sharing this. Have you finally gotten her police clearance? What requirements did you need for the fingerprints in Camp Crame?

The paperwork was finally mailed off last week. In the end DHL rejected Camp Crame and she had to get the prints done at NBI. If you go through DHL, (which I hear is now a requirement) the employees there are unprofessional and will waste your time. When she completed all the requirements, she had to get three items redone because the person at the counter changed their mind as to what was acceptable.

edit: The security division in Qatar called my wife once they received her paperwork, she forgot to get one document authenticated, which cost another 1750 to send.

It is know etiquette when you supply a referral link to disclose that you are making money.
