My wife’s interview is scheduled for Oct 3 but the issue I’m seeing is we’ll be moving on 1 Nov but won’t be at our new residence until probably 15 Nov (driving). Searching around these forums, it looks like the ceremony is usually about a month after. Are they ever any earlier? In a perfect world, it would be great if she could do the ceremony before we move. Otherwise, has anyone dealt with this before? I’m mostly worried that we’ll be on the road when either they send us the letter with the ceremony date or the ceremony date ends up being sometime after we leave our current residence but before we arrive at our new residence.

You wont know when it is until after the interview. It is impossible to plan anything, i know. You will have to get the date after interview, and fly back for oath or whatever. The oath was the most difficult part for us lol. I do not really understand why you can't just put up your right arm after the interview if you pass, but who am i.

Any idea if you can request a later date (i.e. a month later) or change it after you get the date? Our problem is there's a good chance we'll be on the road when the ceremony occurs (assuming it's about a month after the interview).
