I got a rfe from USCIS requesting an intent to marry from the beneficiary. Has anyone here submitted a scanned copy and got approved?

Most response I got says it has to be a wet signature while just one person said it's not necessary. I'm so confused coz asking the beneficiary to mail it down here will take about a month or more to get it.

We just received our NOA2. The signature on my fiancée’s Intent to Marry letter was signed, then scanned and emailed to me.

So it does NOT have to be original (“wet”). Scanned and emailed is absolutely fine.

For a source, please see page 3 of the linked document from the USCIS:

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Outreach/Draft Memorandum for Comment/PED_SignatureRequirementPM.pdf

“A signature is valid even if the original signature is later photocopied, scanned, faxed, or similarly reproduced.”

Good luck
