Had our biometrics yesterday. Today our status shows processing date 14 months, December 2019. So now we just sit back and enjoy the ride.

My husband’s interview was this morning (approved) at Portland USCIS office and we are currently sitting in the waiting area before the ceremony! Our visa journey is finally complete. :)

I had roc last year and another background check done recently for teaching, not sure if that has anything to do with it. 5 days is very possible for background checks, it is done electronically. Although I was pleasantly surprised  , when looking at other timelines for that field office, they may have a low volume of n-400 filers.

Hi guys,

 

I have a question that I'd like to ask you all. 

 

I applied online on Sept. 9 and got the biometric appointment scheduled notification shown in my online account on Sept. 15. It said that "it may take a few days for the biometric letter to show up in your document tab". The physical letter actually arrived on Sept. 18 and I did the early walk-in for fingerprints today. However, in my online account the biometric letter has not even shown up yet! All I have now under my document tab in my online account is the receipt notice.

 

 I'm wondering if anybody has experienced the same thing (Lagging online account/Online letter comes way slower than the physical letter)? And is it an issue that I should worry about?

Applied yesterday online for the N-400.  The process online was straight forward and quick.  Now just the waiting game, my estimated wait time is 16 months.

01/18/2018 - I-551 Stamp (Day 305)

06/26/2018 - Case was transferred to NSC. (Day 463)

08/03/2018 - Received 18 month extension letter. (Day 501)

09/01/2018 - Submitted N400! (Day 530)
