My husband’s interview was this morning (approved) at Portland USCIS office and we are currently sitting in the waiting area before the ceremony! Our visa journey is finally complete. :)

I just checked my online status and looks like my interview got scheduled. Waiting for the notice now.

06/05/15: Entry to the United States

06/12/15: Married!

 

ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS:

07/28/15: I-485 SENT

07/29/15: I-485 RECEIVED

08/03/15: NOA1 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

08/17/15: BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT

10/16/15: INTERVIEW

10/16/15: APPROVED!

10/20/15: GREEN CARD IN HAND

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS:

07/18/2017: I-751 SENT

07/20/2017: I-751 RECEIVED

07/22/2017: CHECK CASHED

07/24/2017: NOA 1 RECEIVED DATED 7-20-17

08/21/2017: Called USCIS for an update, have not received biometrics letter

09/05/2017: Received email saying we will be electronically added to scheduling list.

11/03/2017: Called USCIS for an update, spoke with Tier II, still have not received biometrics letter.

02/26/2018: Case status shows case is now at local office. 

05/05/2018: Received NOA that biometrics appointment will not be needed. 

 

NATURALIZATION:

09/24/2018: N-400 Application submitted. (Online)

I filed online on 11 sep, was scheduled for biometrics oct 3 but did an early walk in on 17 sep. Saturday morning received notification that interview has been scheduled. The letter showed op in the documents this morning. 2 nov for an interview. 

Field office Louisville KY.

Wait what ? Did you file online September 11 this year or in 2017 ?

Did biometrics this morning. USCIS website doesn't reflect that biometrics is done but the estimate has dropped to 11 months (August 2019) completion.

9/4/2013 - (8pm - Pacific) Email/Text for I-130 approval! (Took 405 days)

9/8/2013 - Hard Copy NOA2 for I-130

10/18/2013 - EAD updated to "Card sent"

10/18/2013 - EAD updated with USPS tracking number (expected delivery on 10/21)

10/21/2013 - EAD/AP Combo card received.

10/21/2013 - Interview day (Los Angeles - review)

10/21/2013 - Another update to the I-485 (Decision - Registered as Permanent Resident)

10/23/2013 - Another text/email for card in production.

10/28/2013 - Card ready to be picked up notification. Later in the day got the tracking number.

10//31/2013 - Received the card today! Yay!

I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

7/22/15 - Documents sent
7/24/15 - NOA1 (Received in mail on 7/29)
8/19/15 - Biometrics done

The estimated completion time still states sept 2019, those are standard I assume. Some states are less busy than others I guess. I do feel the advantage with online filing is that you have access to your letters faster, and like with the biometrics, I could do a walk in about  2 1/2 weeks earlier.

Online filer here and kinda late to the game... didn't realize that my 5-yr LPResidency mark is from the "resident since" date on Greencard, not issue date-- how dumb is that 😜 

 

I have only provided the minimum required evidence (Greencard, divorce decree with name change court order, and child's birth certificate.)  

 

And oh. Is my field office the location closest to where I live? I would guess so, but not sure. Phoenix processing timeline looks bad. Oh well.
