Nothing like that here. Not even a single new update. This furlough is making me nervous.

Per the news update on the USCIS site, the lapse in funding should not affect I-751 or N-400 processing

So they're just being the typical slow employees. In my line of work, we keep receiving calls from the DOJ asking for extensive time extensions.

I applied in September I got my appointment for the fingerprints and after 2 weeks fingerprints review was completed so I think it depends of the center mine was Dallas I received all my letter from Vermon

So the shutdown isn't going to effect our processing time? We still haven't received any notice about if we have to do biometrics or not. Should i call and ask?

Most of us won’t need to do biometrics. But I know it’s annoying to guess and wait.

I sent them an email inquiry and I got a response via mail 2 months later and it basically says that there's a wait list and they'll send things like biometric notices once they get to it. It's just slow.
