Received my 18 month extension today as well (California Service Center).  Can someone add it to the list for me please? Don’t wanna mess the table up lol.

Got NOA in mail today. Inquired with USCIS Tier 2 officer if they have issued biometrics. Looks like they haven't yet

Hey all, 

 

Hoping to provide an update that could give some hope to others. My husband's green card expired 9/30/2018. We sent our packet (really late for a few reasons) on the 27th of September to the Dallas PO Box number. We did not file for e-notification so it's been a nerve-racking month. We finally received our NOA today 10/26/2018. The date received date is 10/1/2018, so just a day shy of the deadline. Notice date is 10/19/2018, so it took a week to get to us here in Atlanta. Receipt number starts with SRC. Super grateful to be moving forward on this journey. Hubby is starting a new program and will need to provide proof of employment authorization again soon and we're travelling abroad for the holidays. 

 

I can rest easy for a bit now. Also, informed delivery is a great tool to watch the mailbox without watching the mailbox. I forgot I had it and saw it mentioned in a few previous posts. Signed in and low and behold, the scan of the letter from USCIS was there. I practically chased my husband out the door to go get the mail. 

 

Thanks everyone for updating. It's helped to calm my nerves.

Just an update from me for whoever might be in the same situation.

 

I sent my package on August 30th without a copy of my green card and any evidence of marriage (cuz I seriously didn't know 😅). I called uscis and they said they got it on September 4. I finally got my Noa for 18 months extension today with WAC. 

 

I made an infopass to get the stamp on the 15th but they made me wait over an hour to tell me their system was down so I came home empty handed. I flew out of America on the same day why serious scare since I'll be back with an expired gc. I can now rest easily at night.

I believe there is no telling. Even on the notive it said it’s case by case, some might not have to go do biometrics again.
