I got my NOA, was issued on 10/19.My best guess would be that this is a reissue. Keep an eye on your mails, yours might be in there today or tomorrow.

No NOA1, GC expires in 2 weeks (we sent this over a month ago, check cashed/ text notification on Oct 1). Of course my lovely handsome husband who loves me and is an all around good guy (sorry had to delete space cadet who seems hell bent on causing me stress) deleted the text before I had the chance to write down the case number. We were in the hospital (he had a major health care, we were there for days... he's ok now) and the text came through at like 6am, I saw it flicker by on his lock screen but didn't want to wake him to unlock the phone. I meant to have him forward it to me but 36 hours of wondering if your husband is about to have a stroke will make you forget things. By the time I asked for it, he'd deleted it, somehow thinking it was a spam text 😕 

 

Our local office doesn't have Infopass appointments in the next two weeks, he has gotten NO where with the regular customer service (the "disinformation line"). Normally, I'd just kick this to my Congressman's office but the nature of my job is politically sensitive and I need permission from my boss before doing that, and I'm a bit hesitant to ask. 

 

Any insight before I suck it up and ask my boss to let me do this?

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED :thumbs: (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding! :thumbs:

So we called today and got receipt number, starts with LIN.

Our timeline:

- Sent our I-751 package on 9/4

- Received at CSC on 9/5

- Check cashed 9/27 at Chicago. 

 

The agent said NOA was already sent 9/25, but of course we never received it. And then he said "oh wait, there is an update... NOA was sent out 10/22"... So, hopefully something comes this week.. crossing fingers..

 

Does cashing the check in Chicago mean case transferred to Lincoln NE?  As I have not heard anyone with check cashed in Lincoln NE.

Did you try calling USCIS? From the posts it does look like they have been helpful in providing the case#

Update: Just like I thought, it's a system glitch. My dhs account now shows the correct information. Some IT guy probably had too much to drink this weekend

Finished early walk-in for biometrics today in MA.

 

Clean place, courteous staff. Because I was a week early for my appointment they flagged me. Site supervisor asked me why I was here early. I explained my situation (new job starting next week, not sure if they'd let me go). He said sternly, "Next time, keep to your appointment date." I said a lot of thank you's and yes sir's. 

 

Overall only spent <30 minutes there. The drive was hell because early morning traffic, but got it done!

Hi All,

 

I just called USCIS as I had submitted my form just over 30 days ago and had not received a NOA.

 

They were super helpful and confirmed receipt of my package, let me know that my NOA was mailed out on 10/22 and provided me with my LIN receipt number.

 

I was able to add the receipt number directly to my USCIS account so that I can now track it all.

 

Timeline below:

Application Mailed in: 9/20/2018
Application Delivered to CA service center: 9/24/2018
Check Deposited: 10/16/2018

 

Glad to see its all moving along....slowly ....
