I think my case is moving at average pace. I have not received extension letter yet, am hoping that it should be coming in next couple of days.

17th Sept- Delivered to lock box in Dallas, TX

20th Sept - E-Notification and Check Cashed

Case forwarded to Vermont Service Center

5th Oct - Biometric notice generated

15 Oct - Received Biometric notice.

But you got your biometrics letter before your noa...that is weird. I gave up on understanding how they work.

Get a mail from USCIS saying they receive my paperwork on 09/20

“Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing”

In the same mail they say I should receive via standard mail within 7-10 days the Receipt Notice (Form I-797)

A month went by and I didn’t receive any I-797 yet and in November by GC expires.

1) It’s normal that kind of delay?
2) Where can I get more info about my situation since I call USCIS and wait for 3h and no one answers, and the Receipt Number in the email I receive from USCIS  when try to run it say is invalid?
3) What should I do about my work situation since my GC ends in 11/01 and I don’t have a I-797 so I’m guessing I can’t keep working until i receive the form in the mail?

1) No its not normal, however from the discussion on here it does look like things are slower than normal.

2) Create account on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov and add your receipt number. This is the myaccount at USCIS and provides more information than just status check

3) To my understanding once you have been E-Verified (on GC), HR does not do another round of verification. My GC expires on 11/03 and I have not seen any email or notification from HR that they need anything from me.

I am guessing that NOA1 and other letters would start showing up now.

yea and it sucks. I was hoping to get it before 22nd so I can cancel my infopass and keep the noa instead😣

I think they are going through a period of transition of doing data in the Service Centers to doing data entry in the Lockbox locations. Who knows, they might actually improve their operations this way. Good luck!

This news doesn't give us clear information.

They didn't tell us when the filers after September 10th will get their NOA-1.

They encourage the filers after September 10th to file a duplicate I-751?

👆 Let's go to this thread to discuss the timelines in Nebraska (LIN) center! 👆

Does anyone know if it will be a problem that my British passport is in my maiden name not my married name?

I plan to take our marriage certificate with me. I'm freaking out about everything right now *sigh*

Any update regarding NOA or biometric notice?

I submitted I-751 on 09/15/2018, received 09/17/2018, check cashed 10/01/2018, e-notification (text and email) 10/02/2018.. No update after that for me.. called USCIS and they said to wait 30 days to get the extension letter :(

It should be fine. Carry all the documents in case they ask..

Good luck :)
