Back of the cancelled check, if you sent the fee by check.

 

We did but they cashed it as an electronic debit so we couldn't see our receipt number based on that.

Hi everyone. I filed mine on the 20th of September and the received my mail on the 26th. They haven’t cashed my check yet, would you say it’s pretty normal?

I am in NC and I mailed it to AZ as the new address, is that correct?

Yep, it's not big deal either way. 

 

Now that I've called USCIS and I have the receipt number, know it's made it through the first hurdle, and it's an 18 month extension for the hubby's green card, I'm all good now lol

Going to make an adjustment to the template to reflect a few changes.  Once your case is transfer you should move it to the correct section.

Eventually the Lockbox sections will become a bit irrelevant so I just put a note in my notes to show where I filed.

Only needed to talk to a Tier 1.  She was extremely helpful.  Could have told me to call back when it hit 30 days from the time I filed.

 

Told her it has almost been a month since we heard anything (which is true) but still, some officers can be sticklers.

Thanks. If your Receipt Notice was mailed out at 9/14, you may already received it since that's more than 2 weeks ago
