For those of you that haven't experienced it, the new USCIS Account website is a big improvement over the old one for tracking your cases.

Two-factor authentication, decent password length/complexity and it actually works with new case numbers. :)

On September 28, 2018, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

do you guys know if they cash your check, does that mean you will be getting an NOA? or could things still go wrong?

It's a good sign. My case was accepted the day after USCIS cashed my check, according to the case history.

Sent to Dallas Lockbox 9/21. Check cashed yesterday, e-notification just now. We got sent to Nebraska?! What in the world is that about, did we do something wrong?

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

You have to wait 30 days if you sent your case to a Lockbox and still haven't received an NOA hardcopy.

The E-notification said we can receive the Receipt Notice in 7-10 days after the 751 petition was accepted by lockbox.

This website also confirm it:

Do not submit an inquiry if you recently filed an application. You should receive a receipt notice within 30 days after filing at a Service Center or 10 days after filing at a Lockbox.

Something must be wrong with USCIS lockbox facility in sending Receipt Notices.

👆 Let's go to this thread to discuss the timelines in Nebraska (LIN) center! 👆

2. I may attend a wedding of my cousin in Toronto this weekend, my green card expires in December 2018.. I may not receive the extension letter till then, so is it safe to travel out of USA without the extension letter ?

I'm talking about the USCIS contact page in reference to not receiving a hard copy of the NOA:

Contact Us

USCIS Contact Center

USCIS Lockbox

If you have a question about a filing mailed to the Chicago, Dallas, or Phoenix Lockbox, e.g.:

  • You received a rejection notice and have questions about the reason your submission was rejected
  • You have a question about how or where to submit an application or petition that should be filed at one of the three Lockbox locations
  • You have filed more than 30 days ago and you have not yet received a receipt notice
  • You have other concerns or questions about a recent filing at one of the three Lockbox locations

In these situations, you may email us at LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov  and we will answer each email in turn as soon as possible.  Please include the form number, receipt number, petitioner and/or applicant name, and mailing address with your email.  Please do not include social security numbers in emails.

But if your question relates to an application or petition that was filed online or mailed directly to a USCIS service center, or an application or petition that has already been accepted by the Lockbox, or if you have a question about your eligibility to file, you should instead call the USCIS Contact Center at (800) 375-5283, or contact the service center or office processing your case, via the email addresses below, or use the InfoPass system on our website, https://my.uscis.gov/appointment, to make an appointment at your local USCIS office.

Thank you very much for the info!!!!

Hi!

You have to create a new account and in regards your weekend trip, If your GC is not expired you can travel outside the country without problems.
