USCIS this week while cashing all our checks

But Lewisville Lockbox (Texas) didn't send NOA1 to the applicants even though they sent E-notification when accepting the petitions.

It's clear that Texas Service Center filers CANNOT receive the hard copy of I-797 on time after their cases receipt, although the E-notification says you should got it in 7-10 days.

What should we do? We need this extension letter for driver's license and job renewal.

Hello.. I do not know what are you talking about.. what do you mean with " Texas Service Center filers CANNOT receive the hard copy of I-797 on time after their cases receipt"? My case was accepted last Friday 21st so i am expected the extension letter to arrive in 7-10 days ( work days I guess ) that means it should be arriving at the end of the next week or the next one, correct?

The letter has to arrive before the expiration of your G-card and having on mind the delays USCIS is having, I strongly recommend to send the package as soon as the 90 days window is opened!

The letter doesn't have to arrive before the expiration of the green card, you just have to make sure your application is sent before the expiration and they'll still issue the letter.

It helps of course to waylay some of the anxiety many people experience during the process.  :)

And also if there's an issue, like a missing check or something they need to do the initial processing, they could send the packet back.  Several reasons why sending earlier is always best, but not necessary.

Even though the letters should be sent within 7-10 days, my husband's application is beyond that time and we still haven't received the hard copy letter.  USCIS has several issues at the moment--one of them being slow lol

My point is:

The USCIS Luckbox facility located in Dallas/Lewisville is making mistakes. When they accept I-751 petitions, they should send us the Receipt Notice (I-797), actually they didn't. I got this conclusion based on some earlier filers' experience.

The I-797 (extension letter) should arrive in 7-10 calendar days, not business days. USCIS will say that if they mean calendar days.

Hope I explained it clearly.
