Signed in to my bank today to see that my check had been cashed in Chicago. Package sent to CSC 9/5, received 9/7. Now to join those waiting for NOA1.

 

Since I live in Texas, somehow expected the file to get sent to Dallas, but I guess CSC is just sending them to whatever lockbox, for the lockbox to figure out where to send from there.

It's definitely part of the issue.  Just looked at where my check was cashed, think my husband's file may be remaining in Texas. 

 

Then again can't be sure as we sent it to the Texas Lockbox, but it was cashed in Dallas.

based on the posts in this thread, nobody receives the hard copy of I-797 from Texas Service Center so far.

Even though some of them either got E-notifications or their checks got cashed more than 10 days ago.

Folks, after how many days of paper NOA is the biometric letter supposed to arrive?

If I change my address with USCIS before the biometrics letter, will the biometrics letter come to the new address if they havnt sent it during my move?

Please let me know

I have my issues with updating my address with USCIS.  We moved back in 2016 and did everything we were supposed to do and never got a receipt but they did receive it.

 

When it came time to get the notice for the I-751 window, it was still sent to our old address so it seems as though it was ignored.

 

Biometrics appointments seem to be scheduled a month out from the date of the NOA or at least roughly within that time plus or minus.

 

You can see from other people's timelines.

 

If you're moving during the process make sure to call USCIS and follow up with them to make sure they actually change your address in the system.

@vpalermo85 Thanks for your response. I did a change of address and I believe it delayed the process as there was an interview(F1 to AOS)

Here is my case: I am currently working in Texas but moving to the east coast with a new job (starting on Dec 3). My Card is valid for 12/12 and I am hoping to get the paper NOA in the next couple of weeks and get the biometric done(early walk in) whenever it arrives before last week of november.

I push my joining date to december because of the process. I was hoping if my biometric letter doesnt arrive by then, I 'll move by end of november and change address immediately. I'll come back every weekend to my old place (have lease till Feb for my old apt) to check if they have sent the biometric letter.

Does that sound reasonable to other folks.

how did you get a message? thru text or email? i thought if we had sent it to csc that they dont sent e～notifications？
