@Goldfish123 The only update I'll get will be thru paper NOA as I forgot to send G-1145 for mobile notifications.

Only update I have from fedex is someone signed and received on the 9/19 at Lewisville TX location. I had sent it on 9/18. My check is not cashed yet

I really appreciate the input. The advice i’ve had for RoC has been “send everything”.

I don’t see how I can reduce the Federal/State tax return lengths - they are huge because of our tax situation. And UCSIC did ask for compete returns so I feel I should do what the official instruction say.

I have included every joint bank statement and every utility bill for the past 2 years. Are these candidates for rationalization?

How about sending tax transcripts instead and including all W2s, 1099s etc.

I would set up forwarding mail thru USPS. It’s free and easy to set up. We have done it multiple times (my husband is military so we move a lot)

USPS refuses forwarding any letter from government.

Possibly. I was going to call tomorrow and ask for advice - if it's an RFE then a few more months on a process that takes almost 2 years isn't exactly the end of the world - especially as I'll be filing N-400 in 12 months anyway.

How do you know when to file N-400? Is it exactly 3 years after the date conditional green card is issued?

I am working on the assumption that the words "date received" mean that literally, and not "date processed". In my mind, if they receive it before the cutover, you're in. But, of course, logic has no place when it comes to this process so we might find our packets end up routed to one of the new centers. I lack the data to make an informed guess.

Now, if the workload on CSC falls and the processing time for I-751 comes down as a result? Hurrah!

What are '9/11 changes in processing'. Could you please share a link to this information? I submitted my ROC on August 29th, 2018 at California center.

Just wanted to let CSC filers know that it appears many applications filed in August are being re-routed to Arizona and Texas, according to the August forums. Folks who filed in the 8/10 date range are now reporting that their checks are being cashed. Hopefully we'll be getting our NOAs within the next few weeks.

Thanks for this info!

Lots of ppl say USPS doesn't forward government letters.

At least we know the possible reason in case we don't receive the forwarding letter.

I mean, I don’t know. We moved twice in last 10 months. I changed our address every time on USCIS website yet they sent my mail to TN which I didn’t know about until it popped in a mail in GA and it had the forwarding sticker on it like all of our mail does. So I don’t know. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@londongal Although your son's birth certificate and mortgage deeds are very strong evidences. I am unsure sending an addendum will help. If you get an RFE for not enough evidence, just add the proofs. Make sure you have 3 or 4 proving your lives together and 2 or 3 showing financial co-mingling. Please don't send mindless documents which can be easily forged by a 12 yr old like affidavits and greeting card photocopies. Send any evidence which covers the last 20-24 months.

Alright, guys, please tell me i did not screw this up. I live in Wisconsin and I swear to God I checked the USCIS website and “Where to file” section before I sent my packet and it said Laguna Niguel, CA. Now it says Phoenix, AZ and California disappeared.

Please tell me they changed it after August 31 due to CSC overload because I’m pretty sure I checked the address the day I sent it.

Thanks!!

Hey Nikitka85, I freaked out too 5 days after filing I saw the addres for 'where to file' changed and called USCIS to confirm this. They changed it recently. We are good, don't worry at all.

Know that feeling all too well. We prepped ours for over a month and when when we checked it said Laguna Niguel, CA. It literally changed the last minute we checked on September 10 to the Texas Center. We had to print out a new first page to the cover letter as we were about to walk out the door to UPS. Craziness.
