You should be okay, but if I were you I would update your workplace on the process. I did with mine considering I work in a law firm. It's always good to disclose information and you never know they could help you in the process the way my job did.

My friend did it, so I’m inclined to think so. If I recall correctly, he included his expired CR1 green card and his RoC I797 - along with a letter clarifying his eligibility. He never got his 10 year GC: he got an interview for his citizenship and RoC for the same day and they were done back-to-back.

Yes, you will. What documents did they use to check your status when you started (when you did form I-9)?

 

If it was your green card, you're fine. They are not allowed to reverify the green card (for this issue, really). This link is for employers to understand what to do when EAD expires but note this at the bottom:

 

"You may not reverify an expired U.S. passport or passport card, an Alien Registration Receipt Card/Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551), or a List B document that has expired."

A. Some INS-issued documents, such as older versions of the Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551), do not have expiration dates, and are still acceptable for Form I-9 purposes. However, all subsequent DHS-issued Permanent Resident Cards (Forms I-551) contain two-year or 10-year expiration dates. You should not reverify an expired Alien Registration Receipt Card/Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551). Other DHS-issued documents, such as the Employment Authorization Document (Form I-766) also have expiration dates. These dates can be found on the face of the document. Generally, Employment Authorization Documents (Forms I-766) must be reverified upon expiration.

 

 

If you did the combination of driver's licence and SSN, you're fine. If you didn't, and your social security card still has the "VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" stamp, you should go to a social security office BEFORE the green card expires and get a new social security card without that restriction. Look at the list of acceptable documents on the I-9. It is EITHER Column A or Column B plus C. Driver's licence and (unrestricted) social security card is Column B plus C. This will be very helpful when/if you apply for a new job.

No! The preparer would be a lawyer but you are not using one so just leave it blank.

in which website? I only can get status at http://my.uscis.gov/; http://egov.uscis.gov says can't recognize my number.

Not yet. I have been trying since yesterday but I remember that case #s from AOS took couple days to work so I am not too concerned. It will probably take couple days for it to work. 

I have used the website and then the tracking app.

Did you use USPS to send your package or did you use Fedex/UPs/Dhl?

I did not receive nothing yet and i sent it the same day as you...

Yes I did, but i used FedEx, so the address is different..
