I'm assuming (hoping) it's been transferred, but I've had no updates since the Biometric review, so I don't know.

Also, the letter only mentions an N-400 interview.

I hope so too. Have seen a lot of posts where they only get interview letter for N-400 only and it is a combo.

Hi everyone, I received a RFE on my I-751 like 2 months ago and due day is this month. Rfe only ask for deed and mortgage in both our name.  I bought a house after we were married. The house deed and mortgage is on my name and it was my solo asset because I was the one who got the loan and making the monthly payments. My husband does not work because he can not speack english really well, so I am taking care of all our spent. I just want to protect myself. I have friend who's wife left him after getting 10 year card and get half of his asset like money and house everything but her wife did not contribute to their spent at all my friend paid everything. And I really do not this happen to me. So how can I proved the rfe when I do not have it. Thanks

So you think there is a chance that your husband may be using you? That’s unfortunate since the main focus of ROC is proving that the relationship is not fraudulent. It’s also unfortunate for your marriage in general.

Did you send information in about the deed/mortgage with your original filing?

Houses cost a lot of money? I wasn’t aware.

A lot of new immigrants don’t have jobs lined up right away, I don’t think that’s a good reason to not have them involved in your financials at all.

Are you concerned at all about the responsibility you hold with the I-864? If he is not working and will possibly have to wait to learn English more proficiently to meet the citizenship requirements, provided he is not older or has some other valid way around that, you may be held to that for a while.

Ideal would be to consult an immigration attorney, they are the best person who can help you represent this in an efficient way.

If you want to do it on your own then you can try sending deed and Mortgage along with a note or an affidavit explaining how this is a Solo asset as it was coming from your savings and how only you were getting the loan.

It is a high possibility that USCIS will ask for more proof to show that yours is a bonafied marriage.

Note: I am not an attorney, so this is just a friendly suggestion.

Hi all , I wanted to share the latest on my case . I received a letter last weekend that says I have to submit a new I-751 I filed the I-751 too early, since the “resident since “ date on my I-551 (2016) was wrong ,it should have said 2017 instead. So I guess we were too naive thinking that USCIS approved my green card with one year back (since year I applied ) because this was a usual practice we have seen before, but it was not my case. There was even a recall in may 2019 with more than 8000 green card with wrong date and I was not in that list , I was not notified.I even received the 120 days reminder notice on June 2018. I even went for biometrics on October 2019. So I have to start all over after waiting 16 months

For the two of you (@bariki, @Eagleheadtransferred from WAC and are now stuck at Lee's Summit with a combo I-751 / N-400. What is your status for each of you on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do?

My "current" status for each is.

I-751 WAC is stuck on Case transferred and a new office has jurisdiction.

N-400 IOE is stuck on Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS.

If we got through to Tier II would we be be able to just get an interview scheduled if we just accepted going to Lee Summit and just ate the extra cost instead of waiting for it to get to the local office?

They were muttering about an interview there but Tier II now says that may not be required. N-400 is being “actively worked on” and has an estimate of April 2020. Perhaps a combo interview in Santa Clara? That would be an almost implausibly good outcome.

Some movement but not what I was hoping for. I wanted to try my luck so I called USCIS helpline to check status.  Of course I got the standard reply that it is in processing and it is considered out of processing if it crosses the max time frame. But the next day I got an update that my case has been transferred to NBC due to slower processing time at the center. No updates on N-400. Anyone from NYC got similar updates?

And any idea of the timeline from here.

Hi

I had my i-751 & N-400 combo interview at USCIS San Antonio  . Interview was very straight forward and said I would be approved soon when they get my 751 authorization.I got updates online a couple of days after the interview on USCIS case status that both my-751 and n-400  was approved , oath ceremony will be scheduled.Does anyone in Austin/San Antonio area know how long it took between oath ceremony scheduled and oath ceremony notice status update

Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences, you guys are awesome. I would like to thank the visa journey team as well for making our journey a success. I will keep supporting and replying to new immigrants question in this forum.

@Anifowose017

Yes I went with my spouse . IO asked about joint car loan and address, about work for me and my spouse. not anything out of the ordinary. IO was satisfied with the evidence and said I would be approved soon. In a couple of days got the updates for approval
