My husband's case was transferred to Potomac and  he has an extension for his green card for 18 months and that ends in February . Today I received a letter asking for more evidence. We only have 2 months to  send and get approved...  they lagged it so long in California center  and I'm just getting a Rfe. What more can I prove? We are freaking out.

Please post a photo or scan of the actual RFE notice. It is best way for forum members to see the specifics of the actual RFE notice and provide you with specific advise.

Your husband does need to get on the stick and get an extension on this GC extension expiration. What a crazy situation USCIS is putting people into with their glacial pace of ROC adjudication. Hopefully, other members can speak about the latest and greatest way to getting another GC extension. Is it getting another "bridge extension" letter or is it going to a your Local Field Office (LFO) and getting an I-551 stamp in his passport? Or is there another better method? Sorry, but I am not certain of the current best route. What I am certain of is that your husband has to get going, like yesterday, on getting his LPR status extended, the holidays are oncoming and nothing will be done by USCIS, and February will be here before you know it.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Thank you! My case was received september 26 2018 by uscis. Didnt hear anything for months until they waived biometrics in beginning of 2019. I received biometrics appointment in june even though they initially waived it. Did the biometrics in july 2019. I am pleasantly surprised i didnt think we had a whole lot of evidence. We did send in almost 6lbs of paperwork but it was not super strong evidence. I was expecting a request for evidence or interview and preparing for it as we would have stronger evidence now to support our case. We have a baby now and an apartment etc. Glad its not needed :)

Congrats! How long did it take to get your card after the approval?

Thanks! The approval letter i got in the mail tuesday said i was approved december 5th. But my case status online didnt update until 9th of december and said card was mailed. The informed delivery app showed tracking number on tuesday so in total it took two days to ship and a week from approval to card in hand.

Thanks for your reply!  Does Informed delivery app mean the USPS one?
