Congratulations to you. Which service center was your case in?

We mailed it to California initially, but while it was in transit, they changed the address for our region to Texas suddenly. The case was immediately forwarded to Texas.

Congrats! It will be helpful for us that are still waiting if you can provide more info. Which center? Any RFE or transfers? What's your ROC timeline like? Thanks!

No transfer that we are aware of. We never got any transfer notifications except for the one described above. Our timeline is that we mailed 9/10/2018, biometrics waived in April 2019, biometrics notice received Oct 26th, biometrics Oct 28th, Approved 11/14/2019. No RFE or interview. Fortunately, we actually made it through both AOS and ROC without an RFE or interview.

Timeline

Hello, I am a silent reader here. Want to share my experience and timeline.

I filed my i751 on September 2018. Didnt receive any receipt even after 4 weeks. So we went to USCIS office. They said the receipt must have got lost in the mail, so the USCIS agent emailed me my receipt number. But I couldnt check my receipt number on the website, it keep saying error and stuffs.

A few days after my visit to the USCIS, I got my receipt in the mail alongside with my biometric appointment.

Done my biometric on October 31th 2019.

3 or 4 months ago, i realized that i put my last 4 SSN wrong. Example : if my SSN was 1234, i put 1243. So i filled out a typo error form, and in a few business days i got a received saying it was corrected.

I have no way of checking my receipt number as in it keep saying error. So i just waited and try not to think about it.

And on November 8th, i got a mail from USCIS. When i opened it, it says an Approval Notice. Notice date Nov 1st, saying that i will receive my PR card in 60 days. So i was really relieved finally a good news.

And then, i found another envelope. Not a USCIS envelope, its a USPS priority mail envelope. I opened it, and it was my PR card. So happy thay the wait is finally over.

My processing USCIS office was in Vermont.

No status change on the my.uscis site - still "Fingerprint Review Was Completed"

Also, got the card before we got the approval letter, though the letter was mailed one day earlier.

That is such a surprise good news. Congrats! I’m sure you were overly excited. Good luck on your N400.

its 86 days mine was transferred to NBC, no news yet. Case status still shows case was transferred. Wish I could just receive a card in the mail like you... lol!

Yeah, we were so surprised (pleasantly)!

No indication anything was happening and then....BOOM....the card was in the mailbox!

We expected to see our I-751 transferred to Tampa the day after we filed the N-400, but nope, that did not happen.

We guess they were already so far along, or our package was so tight, that when they saw we had filed the N-400 and they brought up our package, they were like - "Meh, approve these people and be done with it"...hee hee. Who knows!!!

We are relieved that no combined I-751 & N-400 interview. Now just the citizenship test, go over the app answers, and get the oath scheduled.

We got the Approval Letter just today (Monday, Nov 18).

Thanks for the well wishes.

We know how you feel...just waiting...wondering...hoping. Hang in there. Remember - Few people get denied. It is generally just a waiting game.

Hang in there...YOUR TIME WILL COME. Hopefully real soon.

Forward and upward.

hee hee....we are still in happy shock...like winning some sports game....can't believe that you won and it is over...

So, yours got transferred!! And you are IN DALLAS!

I don't understand the process.

But VJ helped A LOT that is for sure!

We also got our CR-1 visa so fast, in  a couple of weeks via DCF,  and did POE before 90 days, so that we had to hold off on filing for the N-400 because, though our 90-day window had opened, we had not been married 3 years yet. We filed N-400 the day after our wedding anniversary. If you have not been married three years, the website gives you a warning window that you might not be eligible to apply for N-400 yet. Glad they added that feature. Almost nobody talks about or goes through that, because most visas take much, much longer. Our DCF was super quick in Manila.

Our N-400 still says biometric is done...no change there.

On the 15th I got a message that new card is being produced and today I got a message that my case was approved. Shouldn't this be the other way around? Like case is approved first and then the card production next.

Based on others timeline I thought I would get my card in a day or two but I guess they are prolonging it even at the end. How long did it take for your card to arrive after your case was approved?

Congratulations to everyone who has been approved so far and best wishes for everyone still waiting. More approvals are surely on the way.

An update to my case:

I received a text message today informing me that my status had been updated.  I checked the USCIS Case Status website and saw the  "New Card was being Produced" message.

I was whooping and hollering all over the place:dancing:.

I've been updating my case progress on this forum but the summary is that I originally filed to Texas Service Center in September 2018. Received the biometrics waiver letter in May 2019, my case was transferred to Potomac Service Center on October 2, 2019 and its been radio silence till today. Praise God!!!

Just passed my N-400/I-751 interview.

Charleston, SC
July 24, 2019 applied online
Aug 8, 2019 biometrics
Interview scheduled 23 September, 2019
Interview November 12, 2019
Oath November 21, 2019

Had pending I-751, the officer conducted first N-400 interview and then approved my I-751, my husband was with me but was left in the waiting area.
N-400 I was asked few questions from the N400 (yes/no questions). Then asked me 6 civic questions.

1. Who does a U.S. Senator represent?
2. Who vetoes bills?
3. What is the highest court in the United States?
4. What is the capital of your state?
5. Why did the colonists fight the British?
6. 81. Who did the United States fight in World War II?

Reading:

“Where is the White House?”

Writing:

“The White House is in Washington, D.C.”

He then told me my application was recommended for approval.

Since I had my I-751 pending he printed out two pages and wrote down notes. First he said he had looked up some things before I came for my interview so he knows our marriage is not a fraud. He just wrote down that my husband and I owe our house, that we have kids, what my husband does for living and told me I was approved. Didn’t want to talk to my husband, didn’t want to see any documents. He had my entire file in front of him.

After I left within 30 minutes I got e-mail from USCIS worker letting me know I had my oath scheduled for next week and sent me a copy in my e-mail so I can print it if I don’t get mail in time.

Good luck!

Congrats @Miki28, your updates have been really helpful. Best wishes.
