Hey everyone. Does anyone have their case transferred to Potomac and seen a change is status? How long did it take from when it was transferred?  My husband's case was originally in California. It's been about 15 months since we first submitted  his ROC.

Mine was transferred to Potomac on 16 October from California after I filed for N400. No other update yet.

Those of you who filed N400 and had their interview while I-751 pending. 
 

I have an interview on Tuesday. I called USCIS to check where is my pending I-751 and was told that it’s not at my local office where the N400 interview will take place but at another service center (there was transfer from SRC to NBC in July). Was anyone in the same situation and still ended up having combo interview? I am assuming I will have N400 only. Seems like the officer won’t be able to do combo interview and/or approve I-751 without having it in hand, right? (Not sure if they possibly have our files online or it it’s all on paper if that makes sense).

Question about case transfers. Do we start the wait all over again or is our priority date still the old one?

 

Mine was transferred to Potomac after I submitted my N400. Processing time on the website show they're working on July cases but the data is 2 months old so they should be working Sept cases by now if I got it right.

My I-751 has been transferred. No idea where to yet as waiting on the letter but at least something is happening.

Just passed my N-400/I-751 interview.

July 24, 2019 applied online
Aug 8, 2019 biometrics
Interview scheduled 23 September, 2019
Interview November 12, 2019
Oath November 21, 2019

 

Had pending I-751, the officer conducted first N-400 interview and then approved my I-751, my husband was with me but was left in the waiting area. 
N-400 I was asked few questions from the N400 (yes/no questions). Then asked me 6 civic questions. 

 

1. Who does a U.S. Senator represent?
2. Who vetoes bills?
3. What is the highest court in the United States?
4. What is the capital of your state?
5. Why did the colonists fight the British?
6. 81. Who did the United States fight in World War II?

 

Reading: 

“Where is the White House?”

Writing: 

“The White House is in Washington, D.C.”

 

He then told me my application was recommended for approval.

 

Since I had my I-751 pending he printed out two pages and wrote down notes. First he said he had looked up some things before I came for my interview so he knows our marriage is not a fraud. He just wrote down that my husband and I owe our house, that we have kids, what my husband does for living and told me I was approved. Didn’t want to talk to my husband, didn’t want to see any documents. He had my entire file in front of him. 

 

After I left within 30 minutes I got e-mail from USCIS worker letting me know I had my oath scheduled for next week and sent me a copy in my e-mail so I can print it if I don’t get mail in time.

Congrats, this kinda thing only exists in my imagination, hope it becomes reality sometime soon for the rest of us waiting.

Hi im in the same page like you mine was originally from CA but transferred to Potomac my status hasn't been changed it has been 26 days now. what about you how long have you been waiting since they transferred the case?
