I-751 Filers (September 2018)

What does it mean that "case transferred and new office has jurisdiction "? It been a year and 2 months since we applied to lift the conditions.

Looks like Vermont is moving along.  August 2018 filers are getting approved with case numbers EAC18233.....

Either workload transfer or your case is sent to your local office for interview.

 

Did you try calling to see which office has the jurisdiction on your case now?

You should get notice in the mail letting you know where your case is.

@Jac1313 Whike it is good to know VT js moving along, 18233xxxxx is thousands of case numbers overall from us September filers away and hundreds of I751 case numbers away...

They scheduled interview on the 23rd and it’s for November 12.

You can apply 90 days before your 3 year GC anniversary. So you can file N400 while your I-751 is pending.

Got my green card in 2/28/18 if start the process in October will it be to early?and I hard y can't apply to soon either that they will send it back.

If you got your GC 2/28/18 then you can’t apply for citizenship yet. You have to apply for ROC (I-751) if you have conditional GC first. That’s 90 days before your 2 year GC anniversary. Then 90 days before 3 year anniversary (if you’re married to US citizen) you can apply for N400. Hope that makes sense.

2018 September 20th  : Case accepted 

December 29th : Fingerprint review                                         completed.

August 28th 2019: Fingerprint.                                                Completed again

August 25th : Case approved.

August 26th: approval letter mailed.

 

Waiting for green card. I dont know how long it will take from approval time to receiving  the card. I wish the rest that are expecting approval good luck.

Another VT Center filer here and I just got my email notification today for "card in production." I checked the USCIS portal and confirmed the same status change. Crossing my fingers that this isn't a glitch!

 

I got the NOA for my i751 on September 26, 2018 and my packet was not as thick as most filers', so I was kind of expecting an RFE or an interview at the very least.
