No, I did my biometrics in October 2018. My biometrics are not showing in the status either. It just says my case was received. It has been like that since September 2018.

Mine starts with WAC18904. Radio silence since I went in for biometrics.

In the meantime, I've finished filling out the N-400 application online. It is super easy! Roll on Aug 28...

When you apply online for the N-400 how do you send your proof? Isn't there like documents like for removing residency?

It does not require document for removing condition.  Also,  it will ask you to upload some documents like green card (2 year conditional is ok), tax returns,  marriage certificate,  etc.

Hi! congratulations that everything went smoothly.

I finally did my biometrics last months and got an email from USCIS that they are sending me new card or document.. which is I am not sure am I doing interview or not. Anyway, in December 16, I am eligible to apply N400 but I was wondering if I can submit the application 3 months prior to the date just like I-751. Or do I need to wait to pass that date and apply? Thank you so much for your help!

Yes, you can. On USCIS you can find a tool (a calculator) which tells you when are you able to submit N400. I would, personally, give it couple days past that day to apply. I have seen some cases where people followed that and filed 1 day early and had problems. Mine was 07/20 and I sent my N400 07/24. Just to be safe! :)

I applied on 07/24 (sent/paid online), got update that my case was scheduled for biometrics on the 08/03 (on biometrics letter it shows 08/02). I got appointment for 08/22 but decided to give it a go and do walk in. Some offices will let you come early, some won’t. I got there early in the morning, not even an hour after they opened, everyone was nice and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Got update that my case is being actively reviewed by USCIS couple hours later and my estimate timeline dropped to less time as soon as I walked back in my car.

I have seen a lot of Nebraska people getting approvals. I have not seen any Texas filers. 😬😭

This was her status. As far as I know you should not walk in for biometrics, because you need the form to prove that it is your appointment date (unless you already have the form, then sometime they will let you do it early). which they will give a stamp on it. Also, I also asked her about applying N-400, she suggested to pass the date (on the green card) then apply for it. for example, she applied after 4 days pass to her green card date which was July 20th. I hope this helped!

Btw. You have all of our notices added to your profile under documents. You can simply print out your notice letter from there and they will give you stamp on it. That’s what I did and that’s what I saw other people do. Lot of offices let you do walk in. Depends on how busy they are. I did walk in for my GC as well.

To clarify. I got my GC in October. 90 days before was set (based on USCIS) for July 20 as the earliest time to apply for N400.
