i can’t be the only one who got biometrics 

my case was transferred to NBC last year. Seems like a lot of recent transfers to that center get approved quick 

any word?

I just got the case update notice today. Logged into USCIS Website and got this notice. On July 8, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. 

 

I suppose these are the 10 year green cards.

Also got an update on the date for fingerprints. 

Mit was updated form July 4th to July 8th.

does it mean they are checking the case?

Anyone else has applied or is applying for N-400 while I-751 pending? I am sending off my paperwork in less than 2 weeks. Trying to get it out of my way since our local office has super short processing time for N400!

Had my biometrics in Modesto today, in and out in 5 mins. Basically just verifying my identity with fingerprint and then took a photo. 

Status online had the same text as before since it was supposedly already done. But whatever. It states "fingerprint review done" but the time changed to "Today".

I just hit my 2 years and 9 months today. I'm thinking about filing N-400 this week. Any pros can cons to file the form while pending on 10 years green card? Thanks!!

There is N400 and I-751 combo forum!  Look it up. Don’t remember the exact name. I am sending my application next week as well.

Somebody said if you file N400, USCIS will put your cases in the end of the waiting line. you have to start over the waiting again.

I know plenty of people who had combo interviews or filled out N400 while I-751 was pending and had no issues. I am not worried about that.

End of the line is definitely not true. There has been some evidence of it sometimes slowing the I-751 adjudication, but it really depends on your ultimate goal.  Some people want to get citizenship as the end game and don't care if their I-751 is delayed a bit.  Others don't plan to apply for citizenship when eligible and really want the 10 year green card.

True it varies from what I see. Some immigration lawyer said it slows down 90% of cases but who cares if your end goal is citizenship.

but it would be so nice to have the card first! 

I’m at the 10 month mark with biometrics done.

i just can’t wait to get it !!!

Biometrics done! Only took 4 fingers on my right hand. Was outside in 10 minutes.
