i found explanations of the different code but not if some codes get processed quicker

I just saw a few other posts where they had the right hand and 4 fingers. I just asked if it showed code 5 since this guy got approved quick after.

Same like some of the posts before, I got a biometrics notice in late June after getting the notice that my finger prints have been reviewed in March. Walked in this morning 8:15ish for biometrics because I can't go to the scheduled one next week. Location is Oakland CA. It took about 40 minutes; the process was smooth and the staff members were nice and friendly.

 

I had code 5 on my biometrics appointment notice as well. Right hand four fingers (no thumb), picture, and signature.

Code 5 here too. Going in next week on wednesday. Do they give a piece of paper that says biometrics completed after youre done? I dont remember much about it from the AOS. Feels like a lifetime ago. And i think they did both my hands with AOS.

Now that many people are done or got appointments for biometric... getting nervous since I haven’t received any notice after my app telling me my fingerprints review is done. So excited for those who are done tho! One step closer. Texas service center here

What does the Fingerprints Review mean?

It means a security/background check by using fingerprints or just a simple thing?

I got the original biometrics notice back, with the office stamp ("biometrics processing stamp") and date. I remember that's what I got for AOS biometrics too.

You get a stamp on your biometrics letter. Keep that in case they can’t find it later and ask you to go again @Dutch88

Thanks I dont remember getting one for AOS. But like i said it feels like a lifetime ago. So much has happened since then that i forgot tiny details like this.

To my pleasant surprise, I received a USCIS text message yesterday about a status update and found out this *'Card/ Document Production'*.

 

History of my case: I am a California late August 2018 filer, cash was Checked in Chicago, I vaguely remember when -perhaps in October/November. Then my case was transferred to Texas perhaps around February. My biometrics was waived. Case approved 5 July 2019. Total time 11 months. 

 

Shall I apply for citizenship now? My priority date for that was June 23, 2019.
