In March, we received a letter that my husband's fingerprints will be reused and then not too long after, a message confirming that the fingerprint review has been completed. Today, we received a letter for a biometrics appointment. I am so confused! Why would they need to schedule my husband for biometrics if they have "completed" review of his fingerprints? UGH! All this time we thought our case was already in review... anyone else in the same boat??

Not in same boat but my 2 cents that initially their system had the biometrics and now they might expired and deleted, thus the trigger of the new biometric request. Just a wild guess based on how IT works.

Received my biometrics letter on June 20 for July 3rd. I have a trip coming up next week and just did a walk in at ASC Alexandria. I had my trip itinerary with me in case they ask why I came one week earlier. I went at 7:35am and out by 7:50. Everything went very well. They did not even checked the date of the appointment. Look like they start working before 8am. Thought it is a good info for anyone thinking about doing a walk in for their bio appointment.

So how long after biometrics do you think we’ll wait? I looked at some tracker and only a couple of people had their approval for i751

Received an email from uscis.dhs.gov this morning  saying that we have taken an action on your case. After login into my account, I saw that my status changed to Fingerprint Review was Completed. I just did a walk in for my biometrics yesterday morning. Does anyone know how long it might take to hear from USCIS after biometrics? Thanks

ppl said this biometrics appt only to obtain your profile pic to print it on your green card.

The background check was already completed by using your old fingerprints.

👆 Let's go to this thread to discuss the timelines in Nebraska (LIN) center! 👆

That would be great if we received the GC within 3 months after biometrics. But we also got 18 months extension so it’s difficult to gage

They reused my biometrics in March and there has been no update since. So don't expect anything anytime soon.

They seem to be in total disarray with biometrics letters lately.  At least it's a consistent mess.  I'm halfway worried that they'll ask for biometrics a second time having already done them once for the same filing.

Yes same thing. Got my letter for biometrics on 06/21 but no update on websites

I’m thinking 4-5 months after biometrics I should have the next step.
