I'm in California so I mailed the file to USCIS in Phoenix AZ. Our local USCIS field office is in Chatsworth (San Fernando area). I'll post an update once I get the letter in the mail with further instructions.

A friend went through something similar but last year. I’d be careful because they asked her for additional documents after waiting for a year after submitting because “the documents were transferred to another service center” and she was really devastated.

When you got the extension letter what was the Service Center that sent you the letter? Or what are the 3 letters before your case number? Our local office is Charleston but my 751 is at Texas Service Center.

3 letters before case number are WAC, It looks like letter was mailed from Laguna Niguel.

Juts got back from my combo I-751 and N-400 interview, the interview went really well.

The only "tense" questions that sparked discussions were from the N-400 related to military service, weapons training and having taken a life; as I had served overseas in a foreign military.

The officer did allow my wife to be present through both interviews, however told her that she may not speak during the N-400 portion; cracked the joke that its the quietest she'll ever be for 30 minutes 😉

He was able to approve my I-751 and conditionally approve my N-400; he let me know that due to my military service and some of the questions its affects my approval would require a post decision approval.

By the time I got home, I received multiple emails from the portals  - the final one started that my post-decision approval had been approved and that my ceremony has been scheduled with the letter containing the date and time on the way.

Thanks all for the support, it has been a journey.

Best of luck to all.

September filer here. Just to give a quick recap. We filed in September, received our extension letters in December and we did not have to do Biometrics. Today June 4th 2019 I received a text message and logged into my uscis account to get the following message. (see image)

I'm assuming this is the case being transferred to the nearest USCIS office in California. Anyone else have insights into this?

USCIS Notice June 04.jpg

We are August filers (from CA and sent to California Service Center) and we got the same notification on June 4th. There are a few June/July/ August filers that have been transferred to other service centers recently. One August filer mentioned that they knew they had been transferred to Nebraska from California this week as the automated phone system told them as they haven’t received the letter yet.

We haven’t received the letter yet from CSC , so we phoned and the automated case status checker told us we’ve also been transferred to the Nebraska service center.

AOS from K1

4/20/16: Package delivered

4/27/16: NOA1

5/23/16: Biometrics

6/3/16: Ready for interview status on I-485

7/5/16: SR1 filed (over 75 days)

7/26/16: SR2 filed (over 90 days) - 96 days

August/September filer as well. Literally got the same message about a case transfer yesterday. I wonder if my interview will be soon? My husband is getting orders for an unaccompanied tour with the army soon and leaving in August. I want to call on Monday and hopefully speed up the process, otherwise I will have to go to the interview myself 😕

I also just tried calling and asking about the status to see where it was transferred. With the receipt number it told me i didn’t enter enough digits. How did you guys find out where it was transferred? Did you have to talk to someone?

No I didn’t need to talk to someone, just the automated system.

You need to include the letters at the beginning as numbers. For example WAC will be 922.

Ok thanks! I just called again, however, it just told me that it was transferred...however, not to where it was transferred 🙄🙄🙄

would anyone be interested to join a Facebook group for us August/September filers? Might be easier to keep up with posts that way.
