Interview finally for AOS

So , finally my wife got her notice for an interview after near 17 months after applying for AOS. Is there a chance they may require a new medical exam? And if so where would one go for a medical?

 

We filed for AOS in April 2017, our field office is Dallas,TX.

 

Any other recommendations to bring with us ? Thanks for any advice

Possible? Yes. They aren't required to ask for a new medical when a valid one (<12 months old) was submitted at the time of filing and you are doing AOS from K-1 status, but some people have been asked for one anyway.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

4/6/2017: Received, 4/12/2017: Sent to Riyadh embassy, 4/16/2017: Case received at Riyadh embassy, 4/21/2017: Request case transfer to Manila, approved 4/24/2017

 

K-1

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE

Did you have a long gap between getting the medical and filling for aos? A lot of people who have been asked for a new medical that hadn’t expired at the time of filling but expired due to the long USCIS wait was because they waited too long between the medical in their country and filling for aos.

No we didnt wait long to apply for AOS,  she got it in December 2016 and arrived here January 28, 2017, got married March 31, 2017 and applied for AOS April 12, 2017.
