Hey guys.

 

does anyone know where I can get a “psychology exam “ done in Haiti? Port au Prince to be exact. That’s all I need in order to get my already approved immigrant visa. Please help! Not one of those “medical exam “ places does psychology exam.

I'm curious...who told you it was "already approved"?

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The officer.. Here’s how it went. I went to my interview on Monday. Got called up and they asked some questions and then the officer congratulated me hand me a blue sheet of paper that’s says “I’ve been approved” I received a call on Tuesday afternoon to go back to the embassy on Friday at 7am. I got there and the same officer told me to go get a “psychology test” done and bring it back.

Did they not tell you where to go?

 

Begs the question why?

They did,but not one of the places they told me to go does that type of stuff. It’s strange! Idk how it came from “you’re approved” to I need to get a psychology test done.

Sounds like they saw something in your med exam after the interview which caused them pause........

Will need to be Consulate approved, only they can tell you.

I’m really hoping that’s what it is. I’m ready to go back to the states. Now I’m stuck here for at least another week.
