Hmm, my PD is 16th August and I haven't been approved, yet my name is not on the list of "still waiting" how many others are forgotten???

The lists posted here are just compiled from Visa Journey timelines, it doesn’t mean that you’re forgotten. My date on the list is incorrect. It’s just a brief summary of user entered data, not from USCIS. My date is August 15, still waiting. I’m sure there are thousands of cases not on Visa journey that are still waiting too!

Hi everyone! 

Today I received an  RFE email. The email doesn't say what the evidence needed. Can someone  please explain to me what an rfe exactly means? How long after responding to the rfe i can get the decision from uscis?

An RFE is a request for evidence, and you have to wait until you receive the RFE letter by mail (not email) to know what they need you to send. I'm not sure how long it would take for them to take a decision after responding to the RFE, since I've seen here people getting approved in a couple of weeks after responding and others having to wait more than that. It’s been 1 year this month and the joy I have at this moment feels not real! Received Approval notice!! 

 

Thank you to every single one of you through this journey the last 2 years...Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I went through hell in the last year and all the words of encouragement from those going through the same thing guided me through very dark Days! Your time will come. My case went through the ringer with 2 RFE’s and transferred to local office and we made it. Yours will too! Keep the patience...your time will come as ours did!!

@inneedofmyhb OMG, I am SOOOO Happy for you.  You are the best person in this community to help me go through this tunnel.  and good to know NBC is at least working somehow. lol.  Have a happy life for you and your husby.  I will miss you in this community but I know I am almost there too.  Thank you for everything!!

You and I have been in this for a year now and have lost our patience and mentalities too many times to count. But somehow we’ve seemed to keep going and hoping. Hey sweetie! Omg CONGRATULATIONS! Finally! I'm so so so happy for you! I can feel your joy through your words You deserve all the happiness coming your way and more! We contacted our representative and they have inquired on our behalf. This is the 3rd inquiry in total so let's see what happens!
