What service center is he at?

Going on 10 months over here...it’s the normal now. And will only get worse. I feel bad for new filers, they are in for a long wait.

I was there...they are infamous for RFE’s...since they are past your normal processing time, do an inquiry online.

Hey! Sorry I didn't check back on this forum. Sooo basically my husband called today and they said we're getting our inquiry response in the mail. In short, it'll say that our case is actively with an agent but it's under additional review and that we'll have a decision in 60 days...... Not sure how I feel. Happy that it's finally active but a little bummed by the thought of waiting another 2 months, and even then they could stall for more time, who knows?

Hi, just checking in on you and your sanity, cause mines gone...did you get the letter? Me nothing, nada, zero, zip, zilch!! Sorry, my mentality has reached its limit...all I can do at this point is just be Sarcastic in my life. I’m drained.. please let me know. You’re in my thoughts...😘

Hey! No letter yet, and our 60 day timeline ends 13th July soooooo I'm not holding my breath. Just gonna switch off my brain until the 13th, that's the only way I'll stay sane. That will be hitting month 11 for us.. sigh. You're in my thoughts too ❤️

Going on 10 months for us too. In Nebraska service center. Does anyone have any idea how long it will actually take to he approved? The processing time says 7 to 10 months but I know it’ll be longer

At this point, it is truly unknown. I am no longer paying attention to the processing times because they are not what they say. From what I’ve seen, from beginning to interview is approx 18-24 months.

I saw that congress is trying to get involved stating that the processing times have become a crisis. Uscis responded to them and congress frowned at their answers. Processing times have increased by 45%.   However, application submittals have decreased. And uscis ia funded  from our filing fees and they are now being forced to hand over some of the monies to cbp to help with their deportation logs. Instead of allowing uscis to allocate these funds for Recruiting. So it’s just going to get worse. Just hang tight. There is an end to everything, even this madness.

mine too its more than 10 months my NOA1 is July 20,2018, we already inform USCIS for our case being outdated and their response that our case is next in line and wait for 60 days for update. Our case sent to Nebraska Service Center. This is insane, too long of waiting.

And honestly, I think it's better this way, if we keep sending "outside normal processing times" resquests for them, it will only make it more bureaucratic and consequently take longer
