Just got update email from Visa Journal. Now estimate approval time is in July. NOA August 27th. This has to be an April fool joke.

I received that email too. it says my estimate approval time is june 25!!! my NOA1 is August 15. it is so unfair, i saw people who filed in december and their cases were sent to potomac have already been approved! :(

My friend just received their approval letter...they are Dec/18 filers at Potomac. I just don’t understand how the service centers don’t work at the same pace.

No one seems to have an answer to this...my case is at Nebraska. PD 08/24/2018.

It’s a new month and Nebraska  is still working on April/May files. All I can do is just wait, wait and keep waiting. I don’t understand how the workload is supposed to be distributed evenly but it’s quite obvious that is not the case.

Nebraska on May, Texas processing August, Potomac on Dec.

In due time, we will all get through this.

Stay strong everyone.

I really think the service center is based on your location and not on the work load. Looks like the majority of the west are sent to the Texas Service Center and majority of the east are sent to Nebraska. As for Potomac all the low population states are sent here. If you look at the processing off the USCIS website Potomac does nothing but I-130 form petition unlike the other service centers.

We should start sending letters to our Senators, Nebraska Filers. These senators can maybe help us out. It's so ridiculous to see that Nebraska is stuck while other centers are fast moving.  It's just so unacceptable.
