It really isn’t fair how all the service centers work at a different pace. They need management control around there ugh..

I feel you. We're in 2019, there is NO explicable reason that we're still doing paper petitions. It should already be computerised and petitions should automatically go to the service center that has the most capacity to handle it, and then worked through in a chronological order. Makes no sense at all. USCIS needs a major overhaul.

CR1 Visa Timeline

10th August 2018: I-130 Petition Filed

So so depressing. Potomac is working on Dec petitions, Texas is working on August and oh btw,  Slowbraska is still on April/May! !

Just sad...

At this rate, it could take more than 10 months to get an approval 😩

I agree!! My husband was just saying that...we are waiting to receive our RFE in the mail and there is not reason to keep people waiting when they’ve waited long enough without any updates. If you issue and RFE, you should be able to access it electronically and not wait. Absolutely no reason for our government to still rely on snail mail when you can file taxes online, receive transcripts online, file unemployment online..for god sake, you can do anything online now a days...do they not realize how much this would help them with workload as well?

Me too, you just get used to it. Lately all we’ve been doing is arguing...don’t think we are the only ones. Going through this brings lots of tension, frustration and nerves...

I really hope not! but i have seen here on visajourney that many people with their cases at nebraska have to inquire about their cases being outside normal processing times, compared to other service centers . I hope we don't have to get to that!

Yes, sadly... this is a very stressful process. I hope you receive your RFE soon! I have read here usually after you respond to RFEs your case will be approved soon so that's good at least! Then the rest of the process should be faster
