They are the worst. I’ve got one too...always seems like I’m more knowledgeable (about this) than them.

Do let us know what it was about because trust me there are way too many of these RFE for initial for August filers so far, it’s unreal. Maybe they lost paperwork from packets who knows.

I know right!! I will definitely let you guys know. You were the first (other than hubby) that I let know. We are all in this nightmare together. And even though I’ve broken down so many times over this, this group has somehow managed to lift my spirits when I needed it the most.

I just hope and pray it’s something simple. We had a really hard time obtaining certified documents from Argentina. They were very slow. Who was it from our group that recently got an RFE for intial evidence? I don’t remember.

Guys!!!!!!! My case was updated...I received text message!!!! RFE in its way. Asking for “initial” evidence!!! I am remembering someone saying “initial” evidence is different from additional evidence!! But they touched my case...

Good at least they touched your case!!  Just give them what they asking for. I heard after you provide them with the missing information, an RFE takes 14 days for approval

I got one last week, it said pages 10-12 were missing. No idea if I somehow forgot to put them in or if they lost them but it was a relief that it was something so simple. Try to relax it will probably be something equally as uninteresting!

Yes..  just saw too many RFE and all of them were asked for initial evidence.

(Aug15 cases: 119 received, 9 RFE,  0 approvals)

I wonder what that would be.

I did some searching (again the ocd kicking in) and saw many post on vj back from 2017 that TSC is the one service center to issue the most RFE’s. I found that quite interesting.

Me too! My PD is August 10 on NOA1 hard copy and the old website, but on the new website it says August 15. Which one is more accurate?
